This is a very good summary of the potential impact, though I don't even think Cutler is that much better than JC:

No Cutler is not worth the risk, give JC an OL and watch the improvement.

Maybe it's a smoke screen to get other teams higher than the Redskins to jump into a top ten pick so that the Redskins would have a better chance at getting an elite OT to fall their way at 13th...hmmmm?

Yeah, I'm sure Ramsey and Brunell agree with you 100%. They're still coughing up Fedex field.

If he not maybe Denver will accept tradebacks at the end of the '09 season, even steven.

Re: OM FIELD: Is Jay Cutler Worth the Risk?

I think if you can do it, You just have to to. It will hurt to lose the 13th pick. But we're not that bad off at RT between Heyer and Jansen we should survive there. We could still find a OLB in the 3rd round. And maybe we can get a 2nd or 3rd in the deal. If it all goes well maybe our 1st next is'nt that big of a lose cause of the great season we'll have with Cutler. When denver's D holds opponents to under 21 pts Cutler was almost unbeaten. With our D and Cutler you gotta think that makes us a serious contender.

Re: OM FIELD: Is Jay Cutler Worth the Risk?

I'd trade for Cutler if the price is right and 2 1st round picks aint it! Yes I'd rather have Cutler than JC and yes I think Cutler is a better QB than JC but Denver's asking price is ridiculous. Let JC have 1 final year to prove he's the franchise QB.
