Also, If you read the posts on that thread you will notice most of them are ignorant due to the fact that they assume Johnson is much better when they obviously have not checked the stats. This thread gives the reader a clear comparison between Plack and Johnson. It amazes me how little credit most fans give to the punting position.

Are you confusing kickoff rules with punting?

If a punt goes out of bounds, it's no "place the ball at the 40" penalty, they get the ball where it went out.
