Re: Hall agrees to one year deal with skins
I'm just a little surprised at this move. Because Torrence certainly isn't very much, ok teamer/bottom barrel corner. But he was serviceable now.
With that said. That is more than I can say for Tyron (Which I don't ever think will be any good) or Kelly standing on the sidelines with street cloths on. I have never been a fan of Torrence for the record. I don't think this move has any effect on anything, in the locker room or on the field. Thats why they brought in Hall. Now we need a WR to replace Kelly and/or knows how to play football better than Thomas, for the stretch run. Both these kids might be ok down the road but we are getting no production out of Kelly and little to none out of Thomas.

I was referring to the infamous Westbrook vs Stephen Davis fight.

To be short and sweet to avoid jacking this thread, Stephen Davis said something about him being gay or acting gay and got his face punched in.

Re: Hall agrees to one year deal with skins
Wait a minute... Westbrook....fights with teammates...lots of potential....underachiever....selfish...not a team player.....man I'm glad we don't sign guys like that to our team anymore.

Re: Hall agrees to one year deal with skins
I think this is a great deal and a win-win situation for all parties involved.
- The Redskins get depth at the CB position, getting a talented DB for a fairly cheap $$ - Hall gets the chance to prove himself in the NFL's toughest conference - If Hall works out, we can consider keeping him; if he leaves for bigger $$ we get a compensatory pick - If Hall doesn't work out, he's still an improvement over Torrence or Tryon - Low investment, low risk, high rewards if things work out I think people forget the old Redskins that would have signed (or re-signed) the likes of JT, Alexander, and D. Hall for big money. We have taken advantage of situations in which we have gotten talented players for cheap, with low risk involved. Although we sit at 6-3, the team needed to do something different that would hopefully change something within the team to help us overcome these mediocre showings against bad teams and poor showings against the Steelers and NY Giants. Hopefully rest will help with our injuries, and acquiring Hall gives us a stronger defense. Does anyone know if Hall can field punts? If so, we should give the guy a chance to return punts as well.
