What a jerkoff, I mean without westbrook why should our D sit. Hell they gave up 20 something to chicago and a billion to the cowboys, Who we just beat. I see most of the experts against us once and, So I hope we use that as motivation. What the fuck do we have to do to get some respect?

Hail to the redskins
Jc has seen this before and played well. You gotta remember faneca left pittsburgh and they are very banged up with not much of a running game. They will quick hit on slants and stuff then when philly comes up it will be moss going deep just like against the dallas zone we exposed. newman is as good as their corners and moss ate him for lunch. GO REDSKINS!

I agree. Moss has become a monster in this west coast offense zorn has implemented. As well as JC.

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

I didn't see a prediction thread so in keeping with the last 3 weeks tradition and superstition, 31-13 Eagles.

Love your passion horse. Sometimes I wish more f*ck@rs would drop the f*ck%ng f-bomb around here

Seriously, I think the answer to your question... win the Superbowl. I'm not predicting. I'm not trying to hype. But we're not going to get so much as a nod from much of the sports-world elite until we take home the trophy, and even then it will be a grudging nod.

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

Once again we face McNabb... He's 10-5 against us. He runs for first downs and extends plays for extra time. Number one he must be spied for the entire game. Blache doesn't blitz too much anyway so its not like we're giving up any pressure. I think we need to start rotating those DE's like a hockey line. Let Chris Wislon and Rob Jackson give two different looks on the OT's and it should produce some added pressure. For real, we should let M-Wah(Marcus Washington, sorry) run Jason Taylors spot. He's slowing down a bit, but he has the instincts you need in the flat. But I'm just a rambling fan now... Back to the point. To beat Philly we need to:

1) Win the turnover battle as we have the past few weeks. Even if we don't, don't lose confidence in the fact that we CAN play quality football.
2) Hit McNabb early and often. If I see this m@#%%^er Moonwalking on us again I will vomit

3) Hope Westbrook can't go. It's tough to say, but we're likely to control the game if he's out. I went to Gonzaga so hey, I can hate on a DeMatha grad. lol

4) Give Jason Campbell time to do what he does. He's playing AWESOME football right now. Time in the pocket doesn't just keep him healthy, it allows Zorn to open up that wacky playbook. (And its a good wacky too)

5) Run Portis and throw to Cooley. Can you really go wrong either way?

Five Keys, that should put us in a good spot to win. 4-1 and tied for the division sounds real good. GO CINCI!!!

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

We need to put pressur eon the QB if we can get 2-3 sacks (which we haven'tbeen getting a lot of) I think we will do good. But that's a big "IF". Our D-Line needs to step up. We need to start pressuring the QB better. I feel like the secondary can contain Fraction Jackson. But we must make sure that Westbrook doesn't make alot of big plays and make sure we tackle him once we got him and stop his threat of YAC. It will be hard. But we have to step up this game. I think the Saints game was a good game for us dealing with shifty Bush. But Westbrook is a whole other beast. I hope he is slowed by his injury. If not it could be a long day. i have confidence that we will step up to the challenge. If we get some pressure on the QB.

I am predicting the score to be:

Redskins 30
Eagles 20

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

Westbrook will play, but the big question is how effective will he be? There's no way he's going to be anywhere near 100%.

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

To me, this comes down to how we handle the blitz. Jon Jansen at RT really scares me on this day. If the blitz is getting to JC we lose. If he beats it, we win.

Re: Thoughts on Eagles/Redskins

It'll be interesting to see how Zorn handles Jim Johnson's pressure blitzes. Expect lots of quick slants, screens, draw plays. Zorn will have to shine as a tactician tomorrow. Though if anyone saw the Eagle-Cowboy game, Johnson didn't blitz nearly as much.

Westbrook ranks right up there with Emmitt Smith and Joe Morris as Redskin Killer-running backs.
