Some of the stuff was on him cause he needs to learn to come off to his 2nd and 3rd guys. Some of the time our o-line was being killed. Other times the wr's were running 6 yard patterns when it's 3-8. Some of it is on the coaching cause they should've had him in shotgun. Even though JC needs to play better, tonight was certainly not 100% on JC. But I'm sure you just want to blame it all on him cause you just don't like the guy.
Give me a break. The only one that is taking this personal is the people that love JC and hate when I call him out. Why would it be personal for me? I don't know the guy.. and I all I want is for the Skins to win. I watch him play and he makes bad chioces. I see it time and again, and I watch every game. Other QBs have his issues with players and still seem to find a way to get that ball where it needs to be. If you all think JC is our guy, you have a VERY long road ahead.. a lot of loss and a lot of up and down BS games is what we have ahead of us. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a top QB in the NFL. You all don't like it, but that's what I see. It's not personal, it's just my opinion based on what I SEE. Football isn't personal, it's a game, a sport and something I love to watch. But it's a hell of a lot more fun to watch when we have a QB that knows what the heck to do!

Give JC a break, how many OC's has he had in the last 7 years? Would you rather start slow ass Collins (who would have been killed) or green as an apple Colt. Be realistic, JC is our one and only choice for this season.

If this kind of performance continues, so would I. Collins may be molasses but he has an accurate arm and good vision. Too bad it turns noodle when he has to throw a bomb but in a WCO system, you don't have to worry about that too much.

He looked lost and slow during the pre-season. He'd probably be more lost than Campbell grasping the Paul Brown offense (I hate the term WCO)

Friends don't let friends type drunk....someone take the keys away. lol.

I'm not sure if I should be un-happy or happy? I mean....piss pour planning = piss pour performance. Sacks, Short passes on 3rd and long, dropped balls, CB's not trying to force an incompletion, no one big enough to ring Jacobs bell, bad play calls, bad clock management throughout the game except the last 2min of 1st half,.......

or...happy that a 1st yr coach playing a SB team only had 16 points scored on their turf with crowd noise. As bad as we looked it was not a blow out. Either the Giants pulled punches or we are not as bad as we look to be. or the Giants are not as good as they used to be even though they did not look to bad. I wonder how well we will play them at the end of the yr.

I honestly don't think the Saints are better or even as good as the Giants. I won't go so far and say it will be easy but I think the Giants D is better.

How many of you about shit yourself when they announced Torrence was filling in. LOL. When I heard that I wrote the game off. lol. Oh well.

I'm not saying he's our guy and he needs to play better. But time after time after time you're just killing the guy when there are other people to blame. That shows me it's personal with you. He didn't play poorly last year or the year before. He's been about average. What were you expecting with a new coach, another new offense, a bad pass blocking line and wr's that are not all that good? Do you think he's good enough to carry us through all that against the Giants defense which shut down NE? Keep it real would you! As far as scoring points is concerned, our offense isn't that good, and it hasn't been the past several years.

In one of your other posts you're calling out Carlos R. but you have to realize that he's coming off a very serious injury and he really shouldn't even be out there. His type of injury takes 12 months to recover from and he's covering Plax. Buress one on one????? Sorry but you just can't ask him to do that. Springs should've been covering him but he couldn't play cause his calf hurt.

I don't have a problem with you calling people out. Just make sure you call out the right guys and have a reason behind it.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Game Thread 9/4/08

On a side note.....Gibbs lost his first 5 as a rookie coach before winning games. I'm sure people were not happy and probably wanted him fired but look what he did for us when he started winning. We really do need to give Zorn a chance. I still don't know why we didn't try to find a way to keep McMullen...he seemed to be forming a bond with Campbell. Why did it seem to take all the way up till the 4th quarter to get Cooley the ball? What happened to the 2 TE sets....did I fall asleep? I don't recall the ball ever being handed off to Sellers either. Screen pass set up sucked. Slants were working.

Oh well. maybe next time on our turf. Until then we need to find a way to win or we will be left behind in this division.

If we're in week 10 and we're sitting at 3-7 I would like to see Colt in there.

Well looking at the schedule, based upon tonight's performance, which games do you think we'll win and lose throughout the season?

Second - our O line and D line need to improve, and I think it was a BAD idea to have Taylor out there not 100%

Third – Coach your team, Zorn. Don’t run the damn ball over and over when it doesn’t work, even if Portis tells you to!!!

Landry - THANK YOU for trying to save the game and make plays.

Cooley - sorry dude.. drop your love for JC.. he's a mess.

Moss - nice try, catch the ball EVERY TIME, even if it's not a good throw.

.. We suck.. and I'm going to bed... wake me when Collins is QB again.
How did you watch the game and not think Carlos Rogers was our best player on either side of the ball.

Like Skinsfan69 said, it's always personal with you. I think Carlos Rogers could win the Comeback Player of the year award, and you would be harping on stuff he did wrong in 2006.

Are you kidding? Brooks was obviously the best player. He was on the field just about as much as the defense was.

We look like a 4-6 win team and that's why I was so against the Jason Taylor trade. That draft pick is probably going to end up being a high 2nd rounder.

I wonder if the O-line understimated the Giants D-line without Osi.
