It really isn't a bad schedule you do play some decent teams but it could of been a lot worst so yeah i would say it's a good schedule. You don't have to play against any of the teams that were really HOT this year like the Patriots, Colts, Packers, Dallas so I don't see what more you wanted, but like they've been saying you never know who's going to be good next year but for now it's not a bad schedule

Actually, we play the teams in our division twice. Unless Goodell sees the light and removes Dallas from the NFL, we will see them twice next year.

I also don't see how that schedule is gonna be easy, Cleveland, N.O., Cincy, and Detroit are still gonna be good teams (not bottom of the barrel). Seahawks will be tough on the road and don't expect B'more to lay down. The NFC west wasn't great this year but we did almost lose to Arizona and we are gonna play them again. Who's to say that S.L. and SF aren't gonna be much improved? The bottom line is that we need to build a team that is confident to win no matter who we play.

Re: 2008 schedule looks pretty good....so far

This is off topic but I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could help me out with my curiousity since i'm still fairly new to this site, what does the little green square under my avatar (some people have more squares) and if you leave the arrow on it it says player on the rise. Is that based on amount of posts? one last one, why does it say camp scrub under my username? I know these are probably stupid questions but i would apreciate it if someone could help me with it....

Green squares represent reputation points. The more positive reputation points you receive the more green squares. You earn those points by adding threads/posts that earn the respect of your peers. Remember: Quality over Quantity.

You're a "Camp Scrub" because you don't have enough posts to attain a higher status yet. I think the magic number is 100 posts? At that point your status will elevate to a higher level.

I know that in this day and age teams turn around in a nano-second but I couldn't help but smile when I saw that we play games against the two weakest divisions (at least in my opinion) in football. The NFC West and the AFC North with NO and Detroit thrown in. Besides our usual NFC East games, it broke down like this:

Home Games - Arizona, S.L., Cleveland, Pittsburgh and N.O.
Away Games - S.F., Seattle, Baltimore, Cincy and Detroit

If someone already posted this I apologize...I did not see it already out there.
Cinci and Seattle are going to be very difficult games, but I think that home schedule is pretty favorable.

Obviously the games against Pittsburgh and Cleveland don't mean as much as the other ones, but New Orleans, St. Louis, and Arizona all look like average opponents for next year. Games that could go either way.

Those divisional games will be critical.

Mets fans moreso than yanks. Yankees fans are more concerned with Bahsten. If you offer every met fan free tickets to any game, most will take one of the Yankee games. If you offer the same to a yankee fan, most will take a Bahsten game.
