Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?
Same here. I don't see why people root for Tampa. They are the new Dallas given the close games and the number of times we have played the last couple seasons.

Hello all. Long time reader, first time poster. Great site by the way.
Who do I root for? I'd have to say the Jags and I'm not a fan of theirs either. To me they are just the lesser of several evils. |

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?
I'm rooting for the Jaguars...here are my predictions...I'll start with Saturday's games..........
Seattle@Green Bay-Green Bay's Great Passing Offense Is Gonna Be To Much For Seattles Defense-Green Bay Wins Jacksonville@New England-Fred Taylor And David Garrard Are Gonna Run All Over New Englands Aging Defense-Jacksonville Wins San Diego@Indianapolis-LT And Phillip Rivers Are Gonna Beat The Colts Again For A Second Shocker-San Diego Wins A Close One New York Giants@Dallas-Even Though The Giants Have Been Playing Good Football Lately On Offense And Defense-I Don't Think That Their Defense Has An Answer For The Cowboys Offense-Dallas Wins Again For The Third Time CONFERENCE MATCH-UPS Jacksonville v.s. San Diego-Fred Taylor And The Jags Run Through San Diego-Jacksonville Wins And Goes To The Superbowl Dallas v.s. Green Bay-I Think Dallas Are Gonna Come Up Short Again And Lose A Close One To Favre And The Packs-Green Bay Wins And Goes To The Superbowl SUPERBOWL XLII Jacksonville v.s. Green Bay-I Think It's Jacksonville's Time To Shine This Year-The Jaguars Offense Are Gonna Sail Right Through The Packers D-Jags Defense Are Gonna Shut Down Favre's Passing Game-Jacksonville Jaguars Win SuperBowl XLII I'M 3-1 SO FAR...... HERE WERE MY PREDICTIONS(NO LIE) Washington defeats Seattle Jacksonville defeats Pittsburgh New York Giants defeat Tampa Bay San Diego defeats Tennessee SO IT'LL BE INTERESTING...I KNOW I'LL BE WATCHING.......... |

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?
In the NFC Im going Packers. Ive always been a fan of Bret Farve and would love for him to win another superbowl. Im a fan of the NFC, I really cant stand most AFC teams, but having said that Im always partial to the underdogs as well, so Ive got my fingers crossed for a Packers- Jaguars superbowl. I think that would be a real good game.

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?
I guess I'm significantly in the minority but I want to see the Patriots win it all. I'm a sports historian so I want to witness history for myself and seeing the Pats roll undefeated is something that I don't know that I'll see in my lifetime again. Since the Redskins are out and I don't have any allegiance to any other team, I'll just root for history at this point.

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?
Look, I'm in mourning about the season being over. Don't use logic on me!
