Brian Mitchell is currently on 680 The Fan here in Atlanta answering a few questions about Clinton Portis’ comments re: Michael Vick and dog fighting. Even Brian says that Clinton “…didn’t know what the hell he was talking about.”

Yeah, obviously. He probably just pictured Vick and a buddy or two getting together over a BBQ and watching their dogs wrestle. I'm sure Portis has enough of a sense of right and wrong to not support Vick if he knew the details we all learned in the indictment. He SHOULD'VE kept his mouth shut when he made the comments, but I doubt he actually knew anything that was going on and still supported it. It was a dumb moment and we need to let it go. Now if he comes out in the FUTURE and defends Vick's actions, he has serious problems upstairs and I'd lose a lot of respect for him. I hope this doesn't happen. |

Re: What's Portis think of Vick Now?
What Portis was supporting was Vick's right to do as he pleases with his own property.. meaning if he wants to give it over to his relatives then it wasn't his fault if criminal activity took place (without Vick's knowing). I highly doubt he (portis) knew what was really going on....

Does anyone else find it odd that a former KKK "chapter leader" is decrying dogfighting as barbaric?

Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times ... and I don't mind apologizing over and over again. I can't erase what happened.""[ To be fair, those comments are a bit more apologetic |

Football people weigh the risk and pu on a uniform Bullfihting is illegal here as well as dog fighting and I cannot believe people still go to bull fights atleast sometimes the bulls get revenge Cock fighting is illegal in all states if I'm correct Horse racing the object is not to kill or injure other horses I can see how some think it is cruel. War I won't get into that If you love dogs there is no way you can still believe Vick is a good person. I gave hm a by on given that girl what they say he did because there is know way to know if she knew ahead of time and just framed Vick to make some $. The water bottle we will never know the real truth so I did not judge him on that but only it was dumb to try and carry that onto a plaine. Shooting people the finger was wrong but stuff like that happens so I did not make a big deal of it. Dog fighting and what was done to these dogs is another story and I will not say he is guilty until the courts have decided but it looks really bad for him and what he did. He put himself in this position snd diserves what he is getting. By the way are you related to him and/or on his payroll? |

There are people who will blindly follow anything Michael Vick does regardless of how crappy he has played in the past. "The most exciting player in the NFL." My ass. You want exciting, watch LT.

I agree, from a pure football fan standpoint I LOVE watching LT run the ball. He's got some crazy moves and outstanding vision, and of course enough speed and power to make him a complete package.

I'm amazed that there are people out there defending Vick. Absolutely amazed.
