I won't go that far yet, but you have to look at NY as a team w/as many issues, or more, as we have. I'll bet that we'll be picked at the bottom come august w/the g-men just ahead of us. Like us, they have some old vets they're still relying on. If they fire Coughlin, who knows what to expect. If Strahan doesn't come back (possible retirement too, or cap casualty coming off his foot injury) that would be two of their team leaders gone.

Tiki ran me over in high school football. I'm proud to this day.

When his $10 million deal with ABC/Disney in announced in a couple of weeks everyone will know he's done.. Thankfully the Tiki media man-love is over, I got really tired of all of that. The other upside is Elli Mae will be exposed for the fraud of a QB he is with no threat of a running game..

I also think the Barber twins are cool dudes. They're professional, intelligent, and they don't have big egos. I wish more players in the NFL were like that.

TMC: Did you really play against Tiki in HS? I guess there's about a 5 year age difference between you two, so maybe it could be possible if you were a freshman and he was a senior.

Yeah, I was a young freshman and we scrimmaged Cave Spring when he was a senior. It was a scrimmage against the entire JV and Varsity and I "tried" to tackle him in kickoff team. Didn't work out too well.

That is sweet. I got trucked once pretty good -- I completely flew into the air, and my shoulders were the first thing to hit the ground. I only wish I could say it was by an NFL great.

I met the same fate against Shawn Springs. He leveled me.

HA. This might be deserving of it's own thread. Anyone else play against any former or current NFL players?

Patrick Henry HS class of '94 here: Shannon Taylor was our big guy, he was a quarterback with us before they moved him to LB at UVA he spent a few years with the Ravens as a Linebacker we also had Chris Combs on our team he had two years with the Steelers as a DE. Of course Tiki and Rhonde at Cave Spring, then there was Shane Graham (sp?) with Pulaski County who's become one of the more reliable kickers in the league.
