Re: Redskins sign Novak

as far as I remember, Novak didn't have block problems in college. He struggled the 1st half of his freshman year, but then went on a nice tear to finish up his career.

Well not that it was their choice but they have finally rid themselves of one of their free agent mistakes. I will be even happier when they dump Brunell in the offseason. Hopefully they will sign another proven corner since Springs can't be trusted and Rogers isn't ready for the big time yet.

Hall has had shit luck with injuries. With the Jets he missed one game, with us he was healthy for an entire season only once.

Hard to say he was a mistake in my opinion, you couldn't have predicted his injury troubles.

Why not trade Lloyd to Oakland for Janikowski?

Re: Redskins sign Novak

because Janikowski would end up drunk or dead in a club in Southeast...

Or both...

Still, he should be able to do kickoffs drunk. It would be nice to see one or two reach the end zone.

Re: Redskins sign Novak

Apparently, Novak is in better shape than he was last year. They said his kickoffs are going deeper and higher than ever before.

Re: Redskins sign Novak

I hope so - we need every little bit of help we can get for field position until our D comes around.

Re: Redskins sign Novak

Yup, he won the kicking job because he was 12 for 12, including two 53 yarders.

Hell ya you can kick drunk!

Jergy and Kilmer played QB drunk for years.

Jan. is still a 78% kicker.

Re: Redskins sign Novak

I know my cousin is really happy about this (re-)signing because he was fraternity brothers with Nick at UMD. Plus, they look like twins...

Re: Redskins sign Novak

a couple of diaper dandies, damn

Anyone ever take a close look at the kicker for the Chargers, Nate Kaeding? That guy looks like he could go undercover in a kindergarten class.

That picture of my cousin is at least 4 years old. He's much more grizzilled and bitter now.
