Re: 10/8/06: Washington Redskins (2-2) at NY Giants (1-2)
I was not able to watch the game, cause they gave us the Green Bay/St.Louis game up here and I do not have the ticket, but following online it looks like we totally sucked a$$ today. I am so tired of losing to the Giants it is not even funny. 98 yards passing this is horrible. How can we not stop the Giants? Another divisional lose puts us in a huge hole. This is crap!

Hall was 9 of 10 before that kick, easy to say now that they should have gone for it.

yeah, but all the 3rd and shorts we had and passing the ball late in the game and losing that bad? i just don't understand why they never even tried to get more production on the passing game.

Renaldo Wynn is a 3rd string D-lineman at best. Goldston is a rookie. Daniels is average. Andre Carter should go back to playing linebacker. How can we generate a pass rush against a good offensive line?
Do the Giants (by way of Pierce) really have our defense figured out? |

Regardless, the game didn't come down to that one play. We played like shit all day long on both sides of the ball.

This is just embarassing. I'd almost take consistently bad play every week over this back and forth BS. We look Super Bowl-bound one week, next week it's like a bunch of highschool kids playing.

on the 30, we should've gone for it. very non-gibbsian thing he did there. what was 3 pts. really gonna do anyway?
it would've given the O-Line some confidence that after this game will be justifiably zero.

Re: 10/8/06: Washington Redskins (2-2) at NY Giants (1-2)
I just don't see us having a shot in hell at winning a championship with Brunell at the helm For me I'm just like what's the point. Sure he can get us to the playoffs or maybe not, but to win 3 or 4 playoff games is just not in his future. He is just too one demensional. It's frustrating for us to be so back and forth and inconsistent and in my opinion to have no chance seems like a waste of the fans time. Obviously Joe Gibbs feels different so that's that, but it's starting to become obvious to more and more people I think.

Oh no doubt. I'm not trying to pin this on one play at all. But I still thought that during one of our few chances we had, during what was a somewhat close game, it was stupid to not take a chance there. Going down 10 wouldnt have helped us at all.
