Those were champion season backfields, as is today currently.

There are only so many plays in a game, someone is going to be left out.

It also, is sad to hear everyone saying trade Betts now. I don't know about everyone else, but i've always trade to "side" with a guy that has been drafted by the skins and wants to be hear.

Ricky Irvins was great. low, physical runner who always got big chunks of yards when he'd come in, always wondered why the hell he disappeared.

Something to think about. T.J. Ducketts number for the Falcons was #45. I hope there isn't a controversy between Duckett and Mike Sellers because has earned his stripes after last year and in preseason this year. I think we trade Betts, add Sellers to the trio and put the Rock back on special teams where he is most affective.

I keep Betts and trade Rock. Rock gets tackled too easy by one person. Also, Betts is a good kick-off returner. I say fear the HEAV-JUMBO with Sellers lead blocking for T.J..

Thanks, Ricky Irvins was the name I just couldn't think of. The 83-84 team was also lights out. TJ will add more than many guys realize

This is the greatest Team ever assembled. Did I mention we still have Ethan Albright.

Your crazy to mention Sellers. Hes in my top 5 favorites. Sellers is going to have a long fruitful career and its going to be in DC.

Archuletta- changed no problem. Numbers are such a funny thing, how they need to be identified as a certain number.

I would nip it in the bud from day one give him a new number and mold him to be CP's water boy. Portis is his daddy on this team.

Were adding the final pieces to get this thing going. Sloppy preaseason but we'll explode in the regular season. Portis and duckett should help keep the o on the field longer and the d on the bench. This formula will work. Look at pittsburgh.

Rock is like the Teflon Don of the Redskins. He's always on the verge of getting cut, but survives. And while I love his heart, he has had some costly fumbles in the past preseasons and regular season (Chiefs game!) that make you go hmmm

Re: RB's are worried in Washington

I think now he and some other guys who play special teams like Khary C., Thrash, and Rock also who will never play their posistions can now get with Danny Smith and really set this mother off. I know El doesnt look like B Mitchell but we can resurrect that feeling of starting over in their territory or get a TD when they punt. How come BMitchell is still in the studio? I know he can get an assitant assitant coach job that they can make up for him.

good point. (as much as i hate saying it)i believe that rock will be cut, because, lets be honest, no one wants rock cartwright, in this league u need 2 or 3 quality backs, but if we trade betts, than rock could be our number 3
