I will come clean, I still read and collect comic books. I am really starting to get into it now more then what I was. Due to the fact that my main hobby (the Redskins) is slow this time of year and that my oldest son (5) is really taking a likeing to them, it gives us something is just ours, I really dont see my 2 girls being all into comics.

Anyhow I was wondering if I was alone, are there warpathers out there that have some sort of hobby that is better kept to themselves rather than letting co-workers, friends, or even significant others find out about?
I still read 'em myself, and my 4 year old is following in my footsteps.

Free Comic Book Day this Saturday!

For me, I hide my internet game addiction. Been playing them since... forever. But I rarely let anyone know. All in all, I see it as cheap entertainment. 15 bucks a month for hours of fun is worth it, in my opinion.

Only REAL porn stars do it in their backyard during the day by the pool.

I'm a porn star by day and a pizza boy by night.

r u into Marvel, DC, or one of the smaller comic producers and what series? I'm reading the Infinite Crisis, Justice, X-men, New Avengers, and among a couple others The Gift as well. I was able to stop for a couple years after the storage my roughly 300-400 comics didn't get paid for and they were auctioned off, then last year my former manager got me to read some of the dc stuff and I was sucked back in again.

I mostly read Amazing Spider-man and Ulitmate Spider-man, but being in a remote area where I have to drive about 2hrs to get to the closest comic book store I read what ever my local sheetz gets on the shelves. I just subscribed to ultimate spider man and I have ben "sucked back in" by reading Amazing Spider-man, there are a lot of good story arks ever since Michael J. Straczynski took over for writing for Spider-man. Also ebay helps alot...

There's absolutely no point to it. After I'm done, I'll wad them up and throw them away.

i am actually so cool i don't have to hide anything. I don't watch any TV shows that i would hide nor do i collect anything that I would not tell anyone. I actually don't collect anything and the only TV i watch is during primetime everynight and simpsons and seinfeld during the afternoon. primetime goes like, Monday-24 and tape the apprentice, tuesday, house? i think that is on on tuesday, wednesday- lost, thursday- i flip through my name is earl, the office, and american inventor, and friday i don't watch tv and i don't think anything good is on. hm...... i'll think, there must be something.

When I'm not watching HGTV I'm sure not to miss Golden Girls reruns on Lifetime (everyone here scrambles to remind themselves to start TiVo'ing GG)...and now Lifetime has Frasier too!!!

I was sure not to mention any of this when interviewing with ESPN
