Re: Mock Draft Commentary

allen is a good pick, he'll probably be an easy 1st rounder on the 29th.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

watching the quality safeties starting to fall off the board the Falcons could not sit back at the 47th pick and wait to address our number 1 priority going into the draft. We addressed the Dend position by picking up John Abraham and we fill that Donte with his versitility at playing both corner and safety, plus his nasty on-field demeanor is exactly what we are looking for.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

We the Chiefs felt it was at this time we needed to address the corner position. We had trouble deciding between Ashton and Alan Zematis of Penn State but we felt because of Ashton size and speed he can develop under us into a shut down corner in the NFL

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

The Detroit Lions felt there was a need at corner, with the loss of R.W. McQuarters. We the Detroit Lions felt we had a quality corner fall to us in Kelly Jennings, and feel he will be an immediate impact player.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

Wimbley was too good to pass upon. He doesn't fit into our current defensive system, but he's the kind of player you change your system for.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

The trade between the Raiders and Browns allows the Raiders to get a player they were targeting.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

The Bills selected Taitusi Lutui with the 42nd pick. we felt that offensive line depth was key for us, and feel that Taitusi Lutui could actually step in and start relatively soon.

Re: Mock Draft Commentary

The guy Oakland was targeting was Michigan DT Gabe Watson. Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has wanted to go to the 3-4 for quite awhile now, but never had the personel to do so. Although these picks have been made with the future in mind, Watson is good enough to line up next to an aging Sapp in the 4-3 and play well.
