Scrapping for a TO replacement? My, how far have the mighty Eagles fallen. My money is on the Eagles finishing last in the division next year.

Moulds is at least more capable than that other stellar WR acquisition the Eagles made a few weeks ago in Gaffney.

I've gone on record ( to an Eagles fan that I work with ) that the Eagles will indeed finish last in the division. At best winning 3 games in the East. Their problem is that they are cheap, and the best that they could do to fix their wide out situation was Jabbar Gaffney !!! Too bad Donovan

I believe Moulds has agreed to terms with the Texans. So sounds like a deal is done and he goes to the Texans.

I don't know that Eric Moulds would be a bad pickup for either team. He's not nearly what he used to be, but these teams need WRs. He used to be a good one. He could help Andre Johnson or Jabar Gaffney along some. I think he'd be a good fit in Houston if they ever get anyone to block for Carr. He could play alongside Andre Johnson and be just fine.

Bills | Moulds still with the Bills
Thu, 30 Mar 2006 17:32:34 -0800

WGR550.com reports agent Harry Henderson said reports of Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds reaching a contract agreement with the Houston Texans are false. WGR also talked with the Bills, and Scott Berchtold, the club's vice president of communications, said reports of a trade between the Bills and Texans are also false.

the eagles haven't talked to the bills about a trade yet either.

I don't want him to go to the Eagles.

If I were the Eagles I would sign Lloyd away from us. If they had a large upfront bonus the skins wouldn't be able to match.

Texans | Team close to landing Moulds
Thu, 30 Mar 2006 19:55:30 -0800

Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans are close to finalizing a trade that will land them Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds. The Texans have agreed to pay Moulds $14 million over four years, in a deal that includes a $5 million signing bonus. All that is left now is for the Texans to work out trade compensation with the Bills. The Texans are offering a fifth-round draft pick. The Bills are asking for a fourth-round pick. Moulds will arrive in Houston Monday, April 3, to meet with Texans officials. He is slated to become the Texans' No. 2 receiver and start opposite WR Andre Johnson. Agent Greg Johnson and Texans general manager Charley Casserly said no more progress will be made toward a deal until Monday, April 3.

it is round 5 pick 1, its not like its that far off.

I think that has been mentioned several times on the site and in the post.

He would be their number one and it would significantly hurt a division rival.

which are both very good reasons they should pursue it, except that the iggles simply don't give up draft picks, especially high ones
