Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
The replacement could be Lane. He's a 4.34 guy. Very fast just like Terry and MUCH younger but has done nothing in the league. Terry balled out his very 1st NFL game @ Philly so it's not totally farfetched. Terry better not get too greedy or he will be gone.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
Agree for now but it's not fair for you to say he couldn't going forward. They were both taken in similar rounds in the draft with better production from Lane in college. Lane actually ran a slightly faster 40 prior to the draft also than Terry. Agree that it would be tough for any receiver to replace Terry but give Lane a fair shake. Kid is explosive.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
At this point, I'm blaming both sides. This is a cloud hanging over the team, I don't care what the sunshine pumpers have to say.
Sign him or trade him. Figure it the fuck out.

Agree with this post 100%. Peters will blink first. If Terry rejects his best offer, he will be traded. Peters will not pull a Jerry and give him stupid money to the detriment of the team cap and other players' contracts. Terry needs to realize this.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
I can’t blame either side - I don’t think any of us can. If we knew that AP was offering $20M/yr, well below market, you could blame him. Of if Terry were holding out for $38M/yr, well above market, you could blame him. But I don’t think anyone but the people involved know the deal.
I want him extended and back in camp as much as anyone, but people need to chill and let this resolve itself, as it will. It isn’t as though Terry doesn’t already have great chemistry with JD5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
Oh it will resolve itself soon either in the form of a new deal or trade. The problem is it could have been resolved weeks ago when McClaurin went public. Now he is missing camp which sets a bad example and the reps are still valuable.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread
Terry reported to camp this am. I have to imagine that means a deal is close to done. On the PUP list for an ankle issue though. I’ll bet it clears up miraculously once the deal is signed. Or at least, I hope this is all the case.

Santana Moss will be inducted in Ring of Fame , at Giants opener. Good for him.

That’s awesome. And well deserved. I’ll never forget his two last minute tds to torch Dallas. Can’t believe that was 20 years ago now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
