Re: Arrington's last stand?
If anyone knows or can find out when Laver's daughter was born that would tell how old the article is because they said she was do anytime. If you find that out it might also give the answer to question #3.

Re: Arrington's last stand?
I see what's up with the times now. Irresponsible reporting. Wether the quotes are recent or archived is acedemic. The point is that this should never have been written during the season when the Skins are preparing for a critical game. This is all conjecture on the writer's part. The cap number is going to go up next year and it is possible that they keep Lavar. You know Synder and Jerry Jones type owners with cash have been working behind the scenes to get that cap number up for next year. There may be no reason to cut Lavar with a bigger cap number. Its no wonder Lavar had stopped talking to the media in the past. Damn shame this was written now.

Re: Arrington's last stand?
This just might fire Lavar up to play a hard game and show that article is wrong. After reading it again it sounds like an interview from when Lavar was not playing. Is this the same paper that the Skins have had a little fued with over the past couple of years?

Re: Arrington's last stand?
One thing that is true, winning changes everything. If we go far in the playoffs, I think the Skins will make him an offer to restructure his contract in the offseason. I hope he takes it. I want him to be a "skin for life". Snyder needs to put his emotions aside and let this team build around its stars. It's not often you get a player that is dedicated to the team, and not himself.

Star? So is Brad pitt, doesn't mean he can get it done on the field, we would take Ware, or Spears in a heartbeat for Arrington, and laugh while you find out what we already know, Arrington has been the most overated player in football, and yes that includes Vick. |

Re: Arrington's last stand?
lavar wants to be a redskin. All this writer is trying to do is stir up controversy. He's writing an article that he knows will be a big issue. Those quotes are probably really old.

And when Spears and Ware go to a few Pro-Bowls (not that that's the measure), let me know. |

Re: Arrington's last stand?
Most overrated linebacker has to be Teddy Bruske NE. The most overrated safety is Roy Williams.

Re: Arrington's last stand?
Vick is easily the most overhyped/overrated player in the NFL.
LaVar doesn't get half the run in the media that Vick gets. |

Sorry I don't measure a players true abilities because he was voted to a popularity contest, I mean a pro-bowl. Ask Cooley what he thinks about the pro-bowl process. The Pro-bowl is about trying to get ratings, not who wins or loses, they look for personalities, in which Lavar is, but thats where it ends! |
