I’m not surprised man. I figured Seattle wouldn’t trade him so once that rumor came out the other day I was already over Russ. We’ll get stuck with Mitch or fucking Jimmy GQ

Scott Turner is not bad, he seems a lot like Kevin OcConnell honestly.

No one wants to come to this organization bc every agent and player knows and openly talks abut how this a dysfunctional shit show of an organization and 2 years of Ron hasnt washed the stink of sweaty ball sack that permeates this place.

We are lucky to have Ron.

We are lucky to have Scott Turner.

It really is amazing how even Ron and co. can't wash the stink of this franchise.

They almost literally asked Russ what he thought about DC and he basically gave us the ol' hard pass. It's like the stink of having Snyder as an owner is too much to overcome.

Maybe Snyder can bond with Watson over his favorite rub-n-tug joints. It's our best hope at this point.

If I remember correct, Bruce Allen was widely loathed by agents. People forget how much damage Bruce made (along with his buddy Dan) and like you say it is going to take time to get the stench out.

This.. not to mention no fans coming to the games. Who would want to play home games where the opposing teams fans out number the home fans? Plus you have to put on shitty uniforms and being called Commies..haha..

Ridiculous, as much as I love Wilson, Denver gave way too much. Glad he went there. They better not go after Watson.

Why would an agent recommend a team that:

- has dilapidated small facilities and training centers

- head trainer is on FBI's most wanted list

- former players rip us on the way out e.g. Antonio Pierce, Trent Williams, DJ Swearinger, Keenan Robinson, AJ Francis and on and on

- leaked dirt to Schefter during Kirk Cousins negotiations, went public with their "making him the highest paid QB" offer .. only for us to find out later the guaranateed money was horseshit

- leaked personal stuff re Trent Williams

- leaked personal stuff about McCloughan

- never bothered to call agents of players w expiring contracts like Pierre garcon .. just left them hanging

--------------------------------------------

We are a bottom 5 destination.

Agents hate us.We have been incompetent for 20 plus years, pissing off every agent along the way. 2 years of RR aint going to erase the memories.

At least Vinny was liked around the league as an idiot but a happy harmless idiot ... Bruce Allen was a back stabbing snake.

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition

“Last Thursday, the day the draft was going to start, I had a meeting with Jim Tomsula, who is one of the best D-line coaches in the history of the league,” Francis said. “He told me that going into OTAs, that he thought I should be the starting nose [tackle]. I balled out.”

On Monday, Francis said he got a call from Redskins director of pro personnel Alex Santos and braced for bad news.

“He’s never once called me for a good thing, ever in his life,” Francis said of Santos. “He barely ever talked to me walking past me in the hallway. And he called me to tell me that they were releasing me. I never got to meet with Bruce Allen, because why would they want to meet with the guy that they’re cutting, other than it’s just common courtesy and respect? I got to shake Doug Williams’s hand — not even eye-to-eye, like walking by. He said, ‘Thanks.’ That whole situation was bungled. That whole situation was terrible. I am so grateful that I’m out of there, because they don’t care about the film. They don’t care about who can actually play football. They only care about themselves.”

high profile or low profile ...

we are the worst run organization in all of sports

I'm not sure it's too much actually.

I would have parted ways with Heinicke, Payne, L Thomas, two firsts, two seconds, and a fifth - for R Wilson and a 4th round pick.

You get your franchise QB and still have five picks this year and five picks next year and all that cap space...

I'm not sure it was worth it either. Everyone is saying Denver won but there is no way you can say that today. However there is no way they can compete in their division w/out a QB.

Mahomes, Herbert, Carr, Willson all in the same division. Nice. When Carr is probably your worst option that is a tough division.

I would not give half of what they gave for Watson, he hasn’t won anything and is under investigation.

I think Lock is probably regarded as a much better player than TH...lol. Also Thomas will be 31 by the time the season starts coming off an ACL. Fant is much younger so two big differences there.

Had we offered that to Seattle they hang up the phone.

If you get the QB he takes up all the cap space
