Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Sucks that scalping is such a problem right now with the new consoles.
Scalper group claims it’s obtained 1,000 Xbox Series X consoles I'm happy to have a PS5 but honestly it's not worth paying double the retail price for. In a few months I'm sure stock will be back to normal and there aren't any must have games yet anyway. Wait it out. |

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Shame on Sony and Microsoft for not getting ahead of this. There are ways to deal with this stuff and it's as if they didn't even try.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Why get the any new console right out of the gates? I like to see what the majority of the folks get and read long term reviews. Plus there is a not a single new release game on either system you can't play on the older generation.
The only thing I see ground breaking that i am curious to try is the PS5 controller. IMO Sony and Microsoft just do this limited stock BS just to build demand and everyone runs around like rats trying to find cheese. Also, how much longer until consoles are obsolete? Not trying to poop on those who did get it; honestly if i saw it at Target on a random trip i probably buy it. I am just not go crazy trying to find one or pay scalped prices.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I check offer up app usually once a day...I see folks selling ps5 and new xboxes for 1000-1200 for the last several weeks.
And we’ve also had a couple robberies do to it... It sounds like they need less online sales and more in person...

you posted something about asking about why i thought consoles be obsolete soon, its gone now, i came back to answer it. Anywho, i just think mobile gaming is eventually take over as much as i hate mobile gaming. Not sure how many of my sons generation camp out on console or play AAA games like RDRD or Man of War. Ultimately i think his generation kills console. Also eventually someone will make a Stadia like box that actually works but i guess that is still a console. IDK just my two cents.

Just saying, but in PLAYER READY ONE no one owned a console.

Ive seen countless funny memes about cyberpunk being delayed and delayed .. ive never played the game or know anything about it. Now I see memes on how many bugs it has ... video games are confusing and scary to me |

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
It's out today I think. Sounds like there are bugs and issues on the xbox one and PS4 versions, less so on series x and PS5. You would think a game that's been in development for so long would be ready to rock and roll on release. I'm not in a rush to get it. Let them iron out all the bugs.

I managed to snag a series X yesterday, so if you're still looking keep your eye on Walmart going forward
