I am pretty confident that he is going to remain with the team in a front office capacity. It will be great for him and good for us.

If he isn't here, I'd imagine he'd have plenty of offers for front office role or television.

Keep him!

If I were an owner I'd never sign another CBA that allows cap hits for guys who are physically unable to perform again.
He's not crippling the cap... right now we have the 2nd most cap space in the league.

Yes. I think most people are happy if you are complimentary of someone's appearance as long as you're simultaneously respectful of the boundaries of the relationship and her as a human being as opposed to an object. If that makes sense.

We are not really "crippled" (also what a poor choice of words given AS' injury) with our salary cap seeing as we now have the 2nd highest amount available. And if the salary cap allowed exceptions for injured players than you would basically create a huge loophole for teams to exploit. We suffered a bigger, and more unfair, salary cap penalty at the start of the last CBA and ultimately it had little bearing on the success or failure of the Skins.

Re: Alex Smith’s Amazing Comeback(?)

Smith is a beast, not sure how I would have handled something like that, probably not anywhere nearly as well as he did. Just the fact he can walk and run and live a normal life is truly amazing. Hats off to his medical team as well.

Smith grew up in La Mesa and went to high school between University Ave and 94. You know he's not staying in the miserable weather of DC... lol.

He should do TV. He'd be great at it.

Smith already won in my book. Doesn’t matter if he plays or not.
