I am mixed on this one. Our line would be improved with a guard of his caliber, but when he retired he called the Bills out several times. I could imagine if things go south here, he would be more of a headache than his play would be worth. |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
As to Incognito, I just don't see the need to sign a head case like him. Sure, he's got a nasty streak but, it doesn't matter where he has been, it always goes south.
Again, LG is simply not a position of need and certainly not one where you need to sign a 35 year old problem child.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
35 year old head case who wants more money and flirted with retirement? No thanks.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
I think the headcase label a bit overblown. it’s a guarantee on the field he will play on a good and sometimes great level...like he’s done everywhere he’s been. There is zero risk in his play.
I wouldn’t mind him being here on a one year deal. This is exactly the type of cut vet who could fill a gaping hole on the roster. Did Callahan have him at Nebraska? |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Josh should be top 10 but overall I disagree with the list too

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
This is from an article by Chris Trapasso of cbssports.com on rookies he predicts will make an impact on their teams in 2018:
Greg Stroman, CB, Redskins "Like many before him at Virginia Tech, Stroman was a super-productive member of the Hokies secondary for many years. He finished his career in Blacksburg with nine interceptions and 26 pass breakups in three seasons. His smaller size lends itself to outstanding suddenness, which is very useful when covering the slot. Orlando Scandrick can play there, yet I wouldn't rule out Stroman making the most of his opportunities on the inside in a division with the likes of slot targets like Sterling Shepherd, Cole Beasley, and Nelson Agholor." Yes, he is a major jerk but he's shown he can behave for a while if he must. The Skins would need to put him in a box contractually, as far as his behavior is concerned, and be willing to cut him immediately if he misbehaves. I'm not too concerned that he might bully Trent Williams, although I'd like to see him try. Actually, Trent's leadership could help keep him in line. |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
At the right price I’d take Incognito, why the heck not?

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
I'm really curious how the experiment with Ty will turn out.. We just signed Isiah Williams - apparently he was with us last year, I don't even remember that but then we had to sign multiple Oline players last year.. With lot of LG candidates on our roster, I don't see us signing Richie.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
#Redskins guard Tyler Catalina went down during OTAs yesterday and left practice, per source. Don’t know severity of injury. Will learn more today. This comes a week After Kouandjio out for season w torn quad.
Unreal

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Catalina just isn't good enough to sweat over this, but the feeling that we always get more injuries than others is indeed weird...
