Actually, I wasn't talking about any one person in particular, but if it was you that made that comment about Portis, that's probably where I got it. And my point with the Moss comment was just to point out that in general, the vibe on this board is a player is "overrated" if he's high payed and not performing in the top five at his position.

I don't think one person said that any of those players are worth the money they're being paid. Most of us have just learned to accept the fact that our franchise's current owner is going to give insanely large contracts to whoever the hell he wants, with no regard to actual market value.

You make the comment that "good teams do this and that", but when was the last time that this was a "good team", especially on the organizational level? Truthfully I like Snyder, and I believe the current problems with the big 4 are Gibbs responsiblity, I am one of the few who is behind Snyder big time, we are fortuanate enough to have an owner who will do whatever he has to to win, there are plenty of teams who don't have that kind of dedication at the top, we do, we just have to show more wisdom with how we go about it, and that's just my opinion.

As for the draft, there are many more success stories than failures, plenty of first and second rd talent have gone bust, but there are plenty of players from the third rd. on going to the hall of fame as well.
