Id rather trust Cousins to read the pressure and get the ball out quickly vs 4 scrubs against Seattle all out blitz. Cousins hesitated and then got sacked.

Re: Hawks post game
yea i equate that to rust and not even having 100% familiarity with the position and not a lot of reps lately or time... nonetheless... assignment is more mental i guess but muscle memory should serve some purpose.. I thought for stepping in out of no where d hall did an admirable job.

And so did Norman. But they each made a costly mistake on the same play. That kind of shit happens in a secondary though, not gonna burn them for this. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: Hawks post game
So, I just looked over at the ESPN rankings. We are ranked 13. Yes, I know they are BS. Yes, I know that number of victories matter.
The teams we have beaten are ranked: 6, 7, 12, 31. The teams we have lost to are ranked: 1, 1, 5, 8. (Philly twice). The kicker is that we are ranked immediately BELOW the Raiders - who we dominated and who have lost one more game than us (4-5). Crazy.

Re: Hawks post game
Anybody heard or read any evaluations on Sprinkle's run blocking? According to all of the Cooley breakdowns, a huge part of the run game failure is on tight end blocking. If he turns out to be a legitimate duel threat TE, it could really impact the overall offense.

Re: Hawks post game
Chancellor murdered Quick's head. No penalty. That was a baaad hit.

Quick was an established runner at that point. He had taken 3 maybe 4 steps. I think Kirk can trust a vet like Quick, would like to see him get 4 looks a game. Maybe be the 3rd down look sometimes with Reed getting the attention. ----------------- ESPN power rankings -- I think the power rankings are a snap shot for that week. I think our O line issues anchors where we are for week 10.

Re: Hawks post game
So, with this being Wednesday, I wonder if we will start to hear anything on the possibilities of some of our OL coming back this weekend? We're going to need them.

Re: Hawks post game
I bet scherff, Nsekhe, TW return. I would start Nsekhe and keep resting TW till the Cowboy game. If Nsekhe struggles then put TW.

Re: Hawks post game
If that hit is still legal the NFL is still allowing its players heads to turn to mush. That was 100% avoidable.

Re: Hawks post game
Neshke practiced today with the 1's, I have not heard any word on Scherff or long. TW is done for the year IMO he needs to get surgery.
