re: 1st rd pick Jonathan Allen
I'm not putting Bruce on my bff list just yet. The J Allen pick was truly a no-brainer.
But a great pick it is in every way. We're gonna love this guy.

The biggest decision is still looming...until that is final, I'm waiting to give credit.

re: 1st rd pick Jonathan Allen
I said it in another thread but i'll say it again here;
The most exciting thing (which I can't believe i'm saying about the Redskins) is the coaching he's going to have around him. Having Tomsula coach him up against Callahan's Offensive Line should help him develop nicely. Also, going against T. Williams and B. Scherff should give him a good idea of how NFL Tackles and Guards will play him.

re: 1st rd pick Jonathan Allen
I'd bet on him moving around to take advantage of matchups. Possible nose at times too. A bit undersized for the position in a 3-4, he has a good eye for what the runner is doing beyond the man blocking him.

I remember reading this a few days ago and thinking there's no way this happens

Re: 1st rd pick Jonathan Allen
2 big things standout with Allen...
1.he plays up and down the dline. He doesn't need to be locked to one side. He's left right and middle. I really hope we continue using him to give different looks. 2. He has amazing awareness and control after the snap. You never see him blindly rushing or playing his man. Always tracking the ball. Highly intelligent

And in interviews, seems like a good dude and happy to be coming home. Love this pick. Love it.
