While I do believe he's drinking, that isn't why this shit has gone down. It's about Bruce Allen's ego, but he's willing to let people believe it's because of Scott's drinking.
keep in mind he was brought here to to one thing, be a talent evaluator and ensure the Redskins got a good return on their investments. Then during the most important time of the off season he is at home dealing with "family matters" . . . meaning his drinking problem . . . wouldn't your boss be pissed if that was you?

At the very least he gained a lot of weight. Given his history it's not crazy to put 2 and 2 together. People who drink a lot tend to show it in their face with that bloated/puffy look.

It's likely there are bigger issues in play regarding the power struggle, but his drinking couldn't have helped his cause. That and given the fact the D has been a disaster.

Or he has gained weight watching too much film, I don't know. Anyone saying they know, posting actual proof would be great. A sound bite from McLoughan saying I'm drinking again, anyone?

Of course, after about an hour, the reaction would go away and my skin and face went back to normal, but after passing out a couple times because of the med, I got myself off of it.

That being said, it isn't a med that I would take during the day or first thing in the morning. I would always take it right before I went to bed so I could sleep off the effects.

However, seeing recent pictures and recent video, he's definitely got the "puffy" face on a more consistent nature than in the past. It's possible that he could be on medication that causes that.

How come we don't see this kind of drama following an organization like the Steelers? I feel like the Browns right about now.

Because winning cures everything and people pay attention to drama (even though it is still there).

Let's not forget the Antonio Brown Facebook drama last year with the Steelers for example.

People just want to believe the Redskins are the ONLY team with drama and issues.

Listen to any caller on NFL radio and they will try to make you believe their team is the only team with issues.

Subject: After 40 Years I am Done as a Fan

Mr. Allen, I never thought this day would come. I have stuck with this team through all of the ups and downs spanning four decades. I am now officially done as a fan and sadly you had a huge hand in this.

You have put your own ego and personal comfort ahead of the needs of the organization. You have meddled in the GM process when you explicitly promised not to and your pettiness has driven the one executive that gave your fan-base any hope from Redskins Park. I sincerely doubt any remotely qualified candidate is eager to fill his shoes. No one will want to deal with you.

Mr. Snyder also shares quite a bit of blame for this unfortunate situation. It is his job to keep you in your lane and he has failed to do so. Frankly, he should fire you but I suspect his friendship with you will prevent that from happening. At least you will have someone to fiddle with while Rome burns. I would wish you well but you are incapable of even knowing what "well is".

Regretfully Yours,

James

This does feel like the most disheartening off-season in a long time, though. I feel like I had more hope when we had sexy rexy at the helm....

I be surprised if that even hits his spam box.
