Re: What we need
Who is still the #9 runner even though his team had a by week, The # 2 RB for teams that have played 5 games? on pace for over 1400 yards? has a 4.3 YPC? is a great at picking up the blitz so his team can throw deep?
Yup. It is Portis. I think we are getting great production from him. I think we need to blow people off the ball inside the 10. We do that Portis scores...alot. I think it will start to pick up again. Soon. |

Let me say it once again, in case you missed it: Philip Daniels and Renaldo Wynn have ZERO sacks through five games this year. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s pretty pathetic. And sooner or later, it’s going start costing us more games. |

Re: What we need
What we need is two LB's Washington holds down the fort, he is all over the field. But Marshall and Holdman just arent cutting it. Those huge gains the past two weeks are a result of missed tackles or the LBs being able to shake off a block. If they are not going to play Lavar, then sit him for the year and bring another LB or a pass rush specialist, there has to be one out there, better than we have. for christs sake some no-named guy named Jared Allen kicked the crap out of our O-line and QB, not to mention poped the rock from rock. The sky is not falling, but why not try to fix the problem now, every team from now on knows how to exploit our D unless we can fix it.
