Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

Regardless of the way it was done, it was probably the "kiss of death" for Haslett in D.C.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

From what I have been hearing about LF it sounds like he is a phoney. Back in his player days he knew when the cameras were on and acted accordingly.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

Regardless of how London went about it he isn't wrong. Haslett literally has never been a good coordinator anywhere. The stats and results speak for themselves.

The better question I have....why did London set his taser on kill? Where the heck did this come from and why?

From his tone I suspect he is tired of defensive players getting blamed all the time for Haslett's mistakes.

Zero Blitz on 2nd and 20? LOL

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

They have been trying to run the defense "on-the-cheap" for years. The problems go alot further then Haslett, and while he should be fired, he shouldn't be the fall guy.

He took it too far today, especially in calling Haslett a backstabber and saying he throws others under the bus. And then going after his son.
Sounds like a Kirby Pucket type of situation.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

i didnt think fletcher was totally out of line. fletch always seemed like a grumpy old man to me but he was a professional. showed up to practice and gameday ready to play.

if that is how he feels and his opinion is based upon spending a ton of time with Haslett as his D coord = more truthful and insightful than anything some media never-played-football talking-head pundit has to say.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

Fletch pretty much admitted today his tone was probably wrong.

well he also continues to bury Haslett. Just wow

“I treated him with respect. I wished he would’ve showed the same respect to everybody else. What I’m doing is speaking up for all the players and that coaches that he [disrespected] for the last 20 years.”

damn...well apparently Fletch is just killing Haslett for others? this shit isnt right

I don't doubt that everything Fletcher said is absolutely true. Having said that, he probably should have kept his mouth shut.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett

Fletcher was one of my top Redskin players of this generation, but I have to admit, I lost a little respect for him after this... Criticize Haslett all you like, he is not a good DC, and he should be fired, but don't make it personal... He always backed Fletcher in 2013, when he was downright horrible... He never said anything negative about him, never thought of benching him, ever... I don't get why he went so far and made it so personal...
