Draft picks are great but they have a certain performance risk that come with them. DJ at WR Y or X position is a much better options!

Redskins may not be willing to break the bank for Jackson

If we're trying to get him "on the cheap", I suspect we'll miss again on another free agent, which honestly may not be a horrible thing. Just unfortunately could be another let-down for us..

I am guessing here but I would think there had been some preliminary discusion on salary prior to this meeting today. If the skins and JAckson were worlds apart $$$ wise probably would not bother meeting today.

We should have picked De Sean out of college but we were trying to get big receivers and picked Kelly and Thomas. Stupid way to pick players based on height. Look at the tape can they play football. Jackson is a football player. We have big receivers but they can't catch.

We'll see what happens, but I think this is the team responding to the media chatter that is ramping up expectations on the team signing him. Since the deal hasn't been done yet, it's in their best interests to leak tidbits like this to the media to maintain a little leverage at the negotiating table.

I don't think anything has changed, I still think they're all in.
