Re: Jay Gruden hired as head coach of the Redskins

Well Adam S. just said Gruden decided to come to WSH for many reasons but one main reason was RG3... So i guess the Kirk cousin fans are upset

Jay Gruden hired as head coach of the Redskins

So if 3 years ago I said our next head coach would be a former OC whose family member won a superbowl would anyone have guessed Jay Gruden?

I don't think anyone would have guessed that.

Jon looks great for his age to have a 46-year old son.

He must be on the Jay Cutler diet.

That's amazing that Jon was making babies while he was a baby.

It's tough raising kids and going to elementary school at the same time.

Because it feels better to be positive than it does to be negative. It makes life better, in general. Who can say that we won't get it right this time, even it is just due to pure luck?

Disconcerting Stat of the Day - During all 3 years as Cincy's OC, Gruden's offense has never ranked higher than the Shanahans.

The Washington Post, or at least some of its writers, will never acknowledge DS doing anything other than being a petulant owner, but that doesn't seem to jive with most of the facts that are out there now.
What facts are out there that can you produce?

So basically you're saying "we are due" for a strong, playoff filled, superbowl winning run? I like your way of thinking Saden, HTTmutherf*ckingR!

Any future success this team has with DS as an owner, and I really have my doubts there will be any success with DS as the owner will be in spite of him not because of him.

Of owners who have been in the league at least 10 years only 4 owners are worse than DS. R. Wilson (Buf), R. McNair (Hou), B. Bidwell (AZ), and WC Ford (Det). That's some pretty sorry company.
