Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
According to the Yahoo recap (I love those things) - Highest losing score of the season. Smallest margin of defeat all season.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Yes, think back to August and the first round of your draft, I would say if you picked Arian Foster, C.J. Spiller, David Wilson, Doug Martin and maybe Chris Johnson you are probably not doing too well. I mean a lot of these guys are top 10 RBs, but RBs are not carrying your fantasy team this year unless you have Peterson, McCoy or Charles. DeMarco Murray has only really had one good week.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Would you start Justin Blackmon or Alshon Jeffery for a WR3 spot this week?
Blackmon's projecting 1.5 points higher (vs STL)but he's been out so long...currently have Jeffery (vs. NO) in.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Jeffrey over Blackmon -> Just don't trust the Jags to do much of anything.
I have Kenbrell Thompkins (@ Cincinatti), Ashlon Jeffrey (@NO) or S. Smith (@Arizona) as my flex options this week. Went with Jeffrey, but feel like it is a three way coin flip. Stuck with R. Mathews as RB2 - solid flex guy but not who I want in that spot. (Morris and L. Bell on bye).

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
My #1 and #2 running backs are AP and Fred Jackson, and AP is off this week. My options at backup running back are MJD and Danny Woodhead (leaning toward him). Everybody on the FA market is third string or not worth starting, and I have no idea what to do. With Tom Brady having a down year AP really was the breadwinner on my fantasy team.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
As has been said, RB's are particularly rough this year. Their are AP, McCoy, Charles and then about 10-12 more guys (maybe) as solid RB1's or RB2's. After that, pshhh, you're looking at sub-par starters (Mendenhall, Miller) and RBBC guys (Mathews, Ridley, Moreno) and starters subbing for injured starters (Powell, Rodgers).
In a 12 team league, that 3rd back is hard to come by and usually represents a big drop off. I am crossing my fingers on L.Bell - snagged him after his initially injury and stashed him for a few weeks (Would feel a lot better if Pitt's line didn't stink). With him, I have Morris, DeMarco, Bell and Mathews.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
@ mooby, I would start Woodhead. Seen a few SD games and he comes in for most scoring opportunities close to the goal line (from the 5-20). Not gonna get a lot of yards but likely to get a TD or possibly two. Not sure you can say that about MJD in that Jags offense.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
What round did you pick MJD in? Just curious.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
RBs are so bad this year I am starting a WR in my flex every week. This week its Lynch and Woodhead (yuck) but A.J. Green, Fitzgerald and Edelman are my WR, with Brady and Julius Thomas rounding out my team. I also could not stomach starting the Bengals against the Patriots this week, so I picked up the Panthers to start against the Cards.
I'm 2-2 and need a win to keep my team alive. |

What a terrible year he's having. What are the Giants thinking pulling him out of the game for Brandon Jacobs? He should be a 3 down RB! |

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I wanna say 6th or 7th, everybody else was making a run on rb's and all the options I wanted were gone by the time I had to pick, and MJD was the last halfway decent name on the board. Of course I was basing this entirely on his past success, and I was desperately in need of a second starter. I gotta say, although I had the top pick in the draft, having the first pick in one round and the last pick in the next round has its positives and negatives, negatives being if there is a run made on one position, you find yourself picking from the scrap heap.
