Hi-def
I watched the game at home last night on ESPN and that High definition stuff gave me a head ache...granted I watched on a regular TV but the pitchure looked like stillframes peiced together. Although the picture looked sharp between plays when no one was moving, the actual play just made me dizzy. Is applied to all games at some point? Am I gonna have to buy a Hi-Def TV in order to watch without getting a head ache? What do you guys think?

Re: Hi-def
Hmmmm..... you were watching the HD channel on a non-HDTV. And it really didn't look right??
Do you have the same problem with your color contrast when you are watching on your Black & White TV? Hmmm.... don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this! |

Re: Hi-def
Humm, I'm not sure you can watch Hi-Def channels on regular TV. In my case all the hi-def channels have non hi-def compliment channels. ESPN has the hi-def channel which looks awesome and the non hi-def looks decent but it isn’t crisp. I would be surprised if you were able to tune into the hi-def channel on a regular TV.

Re: Hi-def
you cant watch a HD channel on STD TV. the resolution would be 4 times larger than what your tv can handle.

Re: Hi-def
I saw the Skins-Bengals preseason game in high def and it was incredible, a near religious experience!

Re: Hi-def
I could see the Best of Jenna Jameson as interpreted by (SOMEONE THAT DRAW PICTURES) and still have a religious experience.
EDIT: (Not re-enacting, but drawing, hence art, but bad taste nonetheless)

Re: Hi-def
I left for a meeting after I posted that and came back and realized how disturbing a thought it is...
