FEDEX Crowd Noise Sunday Night (Merged Thread)
I was at the game and it was so loud and everyone was jumping up and down trying to make a difference. Anyone in tv land notice??? How'd it translate?

At one point, you could VERY clearly hear "Eagles Suck!" on TV. The announcers made no mention of it, of course, but my brother was laughing his ass off...

The 12th man has been amazing all year.
FedEx is finally a true home field advantage. |

Did you punch an Eagles fan in the face?
Speaking of which, anyone who went, I'd LOVE to hear some stories about Eagles fans...

Re: Let's give it up to the 12th man!!!
Few things were sweeter than chanting to all the sorry no account Iggles fans, "Last Place". Also there were a lot of jeers of, "Eagles Suck!"
There were a lot of Iggles fans up in section 420 row 27 where I was at, up in the nose bleed seats, but the game was incredible. FedEx is friggin loud, especially when the Iggles were driving down the field on their last possession. It was a great game, and hopefully this marks the end of all the Iggles fans comming down to our stadium, I hope they all had a long drive back to Philly. I only saw one fight, and it was the Iggles fan that got thrown out, the Skins fan came back to his seat to much applause. I don't know if this post will make much sense really hurting this morning. My only complaint about FedEx is that it was a b@!%h to get out of and consequently I did not get home to well past 2AM. Hail to the Redskins! |

I had a blast with the Philly fans: - Sang the T.O. song incessantly. Great fun. Fun taunts for which they had nothing to say. Told them: - It was okay that they lost - at least they weren't in last place... Oh wait, YOU ARE!!! - It's okay, just go home and count up your Superbowl trophies. Shouldn't take long! - What's that sound I hear?? The window of opportunity closing??? Well, it's a good thing you won all those Superbowls while you had the chance. On the bus, had some more fun ribbing a Philly fan wearing a Donovan jersey. Our dialogue (which the whole bus heard): ME: Hey, Donovan this is important [I start making choking sounds]. PHILLY FAN: You must have gotten a bad chicken wing [commenting on the choking sounds]. ME: Nope, Just some bad chunky soup. After years of taking crap from these guys, last night was such a relief. All in all, just a hell of a good time. |

Yeah, FedEx is the biggest hassle ever to try and get out of.
If you ever read that "Concrete Field" forum of the Eagles, they are the biggest bunch of of jackasses I've ever seen. One of the quotes was: "I bet Art and ______ [both from ES] are jizzing all over Gibbs's face this morning." Wow, that's classy. But in keeping with such a classy theme, I'd have to say that the collective Redskins nation might not have any left after the money shot they gave to Philly last night.

Re: Let's give it up to the 12th man!!!
it was pretty loud on TV...even louder when my buddy calls from the upper deck, in one of the corners, and I can't understand a damn word he says because our defense was flat out stopping the Eagles at that point...

Re: Let's give it up to the 12th man!!!
On several occassions I noticed the crowd raising to its feet, I have been up to the Bears and 49ers game this year and I was at home last night telling my buddy the fans are representing and giving them hell, I knew that shit was loud, place looked packed. I tried to explain to him how much different it is this year the fans have been waiting for this undefeated at home and plenty of reason to cheer 90,000 plus screams and yells again saw the false starts and a couple delay of games way to go fans. Sweet I can't wait I will be at the Raiders game giving them hell also.
