I heard on 106.7 that Sonny said that Novak isn't dressing today. So, I guess it's all on Hall. he said that frost isdoing kickoffs and in pre-game warm up was only kicking to the 30, yikes. So, we will see.

I hope he kicks it deeper than the thirty, losing that field position advantage from kick offs could pose some issues through the whole day. I can't help but not even want to give the slightest edge that could come back and haunt us. We need the short field advantage this game and just blow it out.

I just REALLY REALLY don't want Novak going elsewhere.

I went to UMD and love Novak as much as anyone, BUT, people are making him sound like one of the greatest kickers ever. If Hall is injured, then by all means put him on IR and play Novak, but if Hall is healthy, no way we should waste a roster spot on an additional kicker.

As an aside, most experts are picking us to win against the Giants, which is disturbing...I'm used to the "no-love" disrespect from the football analysts and experts.

I just hate that whenever we let someone go they ALWAYS come back to bite us in the ass...

Hall is clearly the better kicker when healthy, but I think the Skins would like to see Hall go a couple of games with no leg problems before they would part with Novak.

True....keeping with that theme, I'm less worried about Pierce, and more worried that Chad Morton might bust one for a TD against us.

Our coverage unit has been GREAT so far. Top 1 or 2 in the league I believe...

The idiot probably didn't know who Wellington Mara was before last week. and you know he couldn't spell his name if he put his llife on it. Just like a Giants fan.

Re: Redskins @ Giants game thread 10.30.05

Our only hope is that today's game was a mirage and not the 49ers' game. I hope Brunell regains his form next Sunday night because the Eagles, even in losing today, can score points quickly. How the Redskins could not have been up for today's huge game is a mystery to me. This was our chance to show that we are a contender. Now we will continue to have doubters - and deservedly so.
