Jimoh.

What are the chances of him being cut? Because had Ade Jimoh Fan Club never signed up here, I might not care as much, but now I love the guy! His contract getting cleared up is right behind Fred Smoot, in my opinion! If nothing else so we can boast and gloat about how wonderful he is. I do think he has some potential, he got caught out of position. I am afraid we'll lose him though!

How did he look at camp, Joe!

No offense to the fans of him out there, but whenever Jimoh and Franz were in the game last year it was almost a given that the other team was gong to score. It looked like they had never played corner back or safety and were just getting taken advantage of at every opportunity.

Since he obvioulsy has some fans out there im curious what you guys see in him... Im willing to listen, ive only seem him play a few times and was far from impressed. And now with Brown and Harris, wheres that leave him. I always thought Bauman would turn out to be a great corner just because he was mentored by D.Green, he seems to be losing his spot as well.

You know, I didn't really pay a whole lot of attention to Jimoh (no offense, AJFC!), but I don't recall seeing him make any outstanding plays. That's not saying that he didn't play well-- he just didn't do anything that caught my eye. I'll have to pay closer attention to him at the next minicamp.

Shawn Springs should be ready for the May minicamp, but I believe both Walt Harris and Ralph Brown aren't expected to be completely ready until training camp in July. So Jimoh should still have some opportunities to "flash" for the coaches.

Jimoh played well in training camp last year, making some good plays in the preseason games, earning himself a roster spot. Obviously, once he got some real game action, he got burned. But that happens to a lot of rookie corners, even the first-round picks. Heck, Champ got burned his fair share of times last year, too. For an undrafted free agent, it was an accomplishment just for Jimoh to make the team. Let's hope he makes the most of his opportunities this year, and is able to earn himself a spot in a suddenly very deep secondary.

Brown is recovering from shoulder surgery, and Walt Harris is recovering from knee surgery. Brown might be able to participate in the May minicamp, but Harris is expected to sit out until training camp in July.

...I dont think I realized they both just had surgery. Lets just hope Springs stays healthy this year, it will give both of them a change to get into top shape. Having depth at corner creates great mismatches in 3 or 4 wideout sets.

Thanks for the info Joecrisp

I was in Vegas this weekend and missed an entire thread about my boy!! What are the chances of that??

You are right about one thing- Ade leads the time in one statistical area - Potential!! He's full of it. Nowhere to go but up!

I predict that he'll be at the Redskins stadium for years to come.... (although it may be as a hot dog vendor if he keeps playing like he has...)

Perhaps...
But he'll be the best damn vendor in the stadium!

well he would have to work on the club level then. I think hes a little small to be carrying the big hotdog thing, but he would be great in the take your order and run and get it role. It comes down to coaching and where they think he'll fit best

Too funny!

Damn. Now I want a Jimoh jersey. He's my new favorite player! I always root for the, uh, under "dog".
