Jim Kelly's Son Dies
Sad news out of Buffalo. I always liked Jim Kelly and I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a child so young, although he did live longer than expected.
It's interesting how many QBs have had children who are battling or have lost battles to rare diseases, Kelly, Marino, Dilfer, Rypien, just to name a few http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/fbn_obit_hunter_kelly

Re: Jim Kelly's Son Dies
Very, very sad. It was clear in listening to Jim Kelly speak about Hunter how much he loved his son. My thought and prayers go out to his family.

Re: Jim Kelly's Son Dies
Really too bad. This has been and always will be a HUGE story in my area. I always hated Jim Kelly as a kid, because he was the hometown hero and I was a Redskins rebel. After he retired I heard many interviews, and I freaking love this guy and what he did with his son. The story of how long he lived, after he was supposed to die almost after he was born is truly insperational. Alot of time when storys like this come out, I feel bad for the families, but in this case I really, really , really give out my heartfelt sympathies to the Kelly's.

Re: Jim Kelly's Son Dies
I saw Jim Kelly speak about his son on TV before a game a few years back, and it brought tears to my eyes then.
My sympathies and prayers to the Kelly's.
