Re: Around the NFL Week 14

I would only argue we're better than the Jets. On paper at least. We have been able to move the ball, just not well enough, the Jets can't move the ball at all, and I doubt it will move the ball even on our D. Though I wouldn't put money on that! Hell, if we end up with the #3 pick, then no complaints under the circumstances.

Now onto the Thursday night game excitement! And it's... oh, yeah Patriots v Steelers 🤦*♂️

Jets offense is garbage, but their defense is legit and good enough to carry them to a win again equally bad teams like ours.

yea i wouldnt put $ on it either. Tommy DeVito went from his childhood bedroom to shredding this D. Lol this is the most inept coaching staff ive seen ever and that includes a guy that was calling bingo at the local church hall a week before being up in the booth calling plays......................

Re: Around the NFL Week 14

At this point I really hope we just lose out, don't do anything dumb like win 2 or 3 games. I think it's pretty clear a lot of players are checked out on the season.

I guess we should have seen this coming, Ron was a lame duck from the start, typically things don't go well when everyone in the building knows a change is coming at the end of the season.

Yeah I can't believe I had this team 8-9 LOL

It would be DUMB AS HELL to win 1 more game this season.

Nobody saw a total defensive collapse coming.

Of course he does... Even when a coach is 100% sure to stay the following year, I think it's not as easy as we think to coach to lose, so knowing he's out, he doesn't care about draft position at all, you can almost pencil in we're gonna have a useless flukish win down the road...

Re: Around the NFL Week 14

Beating the jets would be the absolute worse thing for this teams future .. what we have now is nothing .. and the house will be swept clean! I’m not sure I would even play Payne or Allen .. Sit Terry and put in Brissett .. we know what Sam can do .. I’d be playing the practice squad guys .. this year is over and I don’t wanna see Sam injured or Allen , Payne , Terry etc … we got less than 10 legit starters on this team .. the others i would make them suffer the rest of year .. but I’m sure none of this will happen and we beat the jets and end up costing us a lot come draft time .. but hey we beat the Jets …😳

Problem with that scenario is Ron is toast and he knows it. He wants a win and could care less about the draft that he will be watching from the house his fraudulent coaching career afforded him.

I don't know if beating the Jets would constitute the absolute worse thing that could happen to the future of this franchise especially since we don't even know who is going to be calling the shots at draft time.
