Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread

Will the skins actually get a Win this week? Or will we be calling for MS to be fired after an 0-4 start??

The Rat (shanahan's nickname in Oak) comes where he started, he has had success against the Raiders in the past, let's hope it happens again.

So I came out here in your neck of the woods to watch this crappy game. I assume I'm safe wearing Skins gear to Alameda?

Be careful, stay away from the black hole (you might disappear). Stay safe.

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread

I hope there is no call for MS to be fired, but who knows. The OL does not look like the OL from last year, to me they don't appear to be using the same blocking scheme or using it as much. I hate it when QB's pitch the ball out to the RB cause I don't see how that fools anyone but... I think Morris scored off it. But I still hate it. Last year I think the team used that play once a game, this year they seem to be trying to force that play cause I've seen it just about once every series.

The Defense is atrocious and I have no idea how to offer an idea to fix it. One start would be to remove Haslett to send a message. Who do you put in place? I'm not fond of our DB coach either. One would think there is some really good DC out there available. Bad news... MS is not one to usually fire his DC's which got him fired in Denver.

Who's ready for Gruden? lol.

I'm thinking after at least coming close with Detroit, we actually do win this one.

I don't think we're officially horrible, unless we lose against the Raiders. That's a red flag all over. Here's hoping it doesn't come to that.

Redskins 23
Raiders 21

Pass Rush gets to RG3 and he gets hit a couple of times. Redskins pull out the win with a last minute field goal.

We bring back balance to the offense, as Griff looks more comfortable and Alfmo breaks loose.

I hope it doesn't come down to a FG from Potter.

We have to take this one.

Raiders 2 TDs, 3 FGs = 23

I think a score like that depends on if Pryor plays. Didn't he get crushed during Monday night's game and suffered a concussion?

We have tackling issues and Pryor can run...

Right now it seems as if it's iffy whether Pryor or Matt Flynn is going to QB.
