I say Falcons 45 Skins 38; with us losing on some heartbreak play.
We are not going to stop Matty Ice and CO.

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I think the Falcons are going to move to 5-0 here, but man, we really could use a home victory, it's been over a year.
These are the games that a franchise on the right foot will find a way to steal. This is the kind of game that *should* be seen as a tough draw for the Falcons: on the road against a hot quarterback. It reminds me a lot of the 2010 Packers game, except I HAVE to believe the Redskins are a better team now than two years ago. The fact that it's being viewed as a very winnable game for Atlanta suggests the Redskins aren't quite there yet.

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Atlanta wins, 38-28. The game is actually not even that close, but we score twice in the 4th quarter to draw closer. Our secondary cant stop them.

Falcons (my Super Bowl pick) take us lightly, lay an egg.

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I think the Falcons score their points but we finally stop the big plays.
Skins 35, Falcons 23. I just think until we face a good defense our offense is going to continue to explode. If we can go up a couple scores early, forcing the Falcons to play catch-up might be good if we can blitz.

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
I'm going to be lazy here. This was a loss on my calender of games. Actually still is but.... home game, crowd noise (did I mention crowd noise?), maybe we squeek this one controlling the clock with the run.
I Ditto 12thMan. Skins 28 Falcons 21 The Falcons squeeked on by last week while giving us the medicine of how to beat them. Run, run, run, control the clock, don't give their offense time with the ball very similar to what we did with the Saints. RG3 might have to go back to taking more risks then last weeks game with his runs and 3rd Option plays. We have the means to stop the run, which will cause the Falcons to throw... I just hope they have an answer for the pass. Tampa was dumb founded the first half then they adjusted and started moving the ball and almost won the game. We can't have a second half melt down again. |

Re: Skins v Falcons predictions
Add ten more points to both scores and I'd be inclined to agree with you :-) .
I don't think this will be a trap game if the Skins win. A lot of teams have a lot of respect for the teams offense, and by O I mean RG3 and Morris. Either way ATL are not taking the skins lightly.

Biggest win in the Shanny era. RG3, Alfmo make a statement this weekend. Alfmo goes for 150 yards:
Skins: 26 Dirty Turds: 20

I'm on the fence on this game, I wouldn't get shocked either way. I will say the skins pull off the upset and griff gets his first win at home. Usually we play up to our competition and the falcons are bound to lose eventually.
30-27 skins on a cundiff gw!
