Re: Around the NFL...Week 4 Style

As I mentioned before. HollyMartins youtube account was terminated. He put up lots of Redskin related videos, chances are if you went to youtube to search for the redskins, it was his video.

RIP Holly Martins Youtube account.

Next Monday night will be a hard defensive battle. Bears will win IMO.

Locked-out NFL referees could return as early as this week -- sources - ESPN

Good news. (posted this here in case anybody missed it in the Ref thread)

In order to make room for Carter, the Raiders released a T Joe Barksdale a 2011 3rd round pick. Since the skins are thin at the T position maybe they should bring him in for a tryout, he can't be any worse than Black or Polumbus. By the way, Willie Smith beat him out.

I'm not usually into picking up other teams garbage but this guy was a nice prospect coming out. Not sure why he's lost favor though. Anyone know? Projected as a good zone blocker. Good athlete.

I think he's still learning the position, he was converted from DL to OL in college. He's huge, the one thing I noticed is his time in the 40 is very slow. I say sign him to the PS.

So talk of Green losing his job as the no 1 and his backup going to CB? Guess their finally starting to realize both are bad busts.

I will say this, signing Grimes off Texas practice squad is a good move. He tore up the CAA at William & Mary, may have been player of the year once. He will turn heads if he gets touches.

I'm curious as hell about why he asked for his release as well.

Really? I don't know - seems to me that for all of his talent, Junior is one major A-hole.

From what I have seen of Junior, he got Senior's athleticism but not is character. Dunno, maybe senior was an ass too but, in the pre-"Know-Everything-About-Every-Player" days, it just didn't come out.
