Redskins - Bears gameday thread.

I know it's hours away but figured to start one up now.. hoping to see rob play a whole quarter, maybe throw it 12-16 times.

I would really like to see the first team play the whole half or close to it. How challenging does everyone think the bears defense will be?

It should be pretty solid and a good test to evaluate RGIII, he should play the entire 1st half.

I wanna see peppers vs Williams.. great match up there . I'm just excited to see our franchise qb take the field again, it's like a whole new energy that we haven't had in so many years.

Re: Redskins - Bears gameday thread.

Wooooooo! gameday!

...And I'm at work. But I get off at 5 so hellyeah!

I expect to see Bob Griffin play most of the first half. It should be a good test for him and our offense, I hope we get at least a couple touchdown drives out of it.

pretty excited to see the o-line and the defensive back play...

I asked this earlier but just in case you missed it- Does anyone have a link - or a write up of historical redskins trades?
I'd be interested in seeing what we've done over the years.
thanks.

I have something. Let me find it, clean it up and send to Matty. Maybe he can post it here somewhere

Yes a history of redskins trades- really since 2000. I just want to see what we've done. I swear I saw one in the past but I can't find anything on google.

I'll try and find one but really other than the portis - champ trade and the mcnabb trade I think we have done ok

Yes, I can't remember much. TJ duckett. But really, even the Champ trade - which was tough, and I hated it- wasn't horrible in the context of the situation. Champ wanted a long term contract and we weren't going to give it to him (a mistake given his output). So we grabbed the best back (a need) in the NFL at the time. Portis brought us to two playoffs. I'm not saying the trade wasn't terrible, but I can understand why we did it.

2009 2nd and 2010 6th for jason taylor was garbage.

can't think of any other terrible trades. jammal brown wasn't favorable. getting a 4th for jason campbell was great.
