It's fine. Not going to make a big deal out of it.

He's going to be deadly with all the roll-outs and boots.

That's great that he can roll out left and right, but he needs to work on working out of the pocket. There will tough games where he will have to operate out of the pocket, he just can't roll out the whole game or someone will take him out.

our run game is going to be based off the rollouts. Point being line up in a set formation that you can run or rollout a majority of snaps. If the D has to guard the whole field on that both running and passing lanes should be a bit larger.

The pocket passing isn't going to be a huge staple of our game, but I am sure he will get plenty of practice at it.

That's what Shannahan means by doing things never done before by other QB's. He moves so fast after the snap and I'm not talking about runing speed but play action etc. He rolls out so fast the defense is going to have to commit safeties to hold contain and protect themsleves from 50 yard runs. He is accurate while throwing on the run, "Santana Moss touchdown!!!".

I agree with you but I can also see some plays getting blown up. All they would need to do is rush a CB on the side they think he will roll out to and have the Safety roll to the side and cover the WR being released by the rushing CB.

I do believe though some of those plays RG1 did get were either because of his mobility/speed and arm strength so I'm excited too to see how RG3 with his speed is able to seperate from defenders and his ability to get the long ball long.

That's where the stretch plays can kill oposing defenses, it creates a paradox for them. Defenses get caught cheating because the D is worried about protecting the edge, meanwhile Helu and Royster put on a clinic.

I think that's what they were working on, Wednesday they might work on pocket passing.
