Season officially over....

Well, its officailly over. Its now the off season.

I hate this time of year when there are no football games on.

What will you guys do on Sundays now to make up for the fact that there is no football?

Re: Season officially over....

I'll be watching College Hoops. And actually doing homework. I Swear to god, my grades in the second semesters kick the crapola out of my first semesters (not really, but they are better) , and I think I owe alot of it to having the time on Sunday to do it.... I friggin hate that. I want Skins' Football back, baby! I'll be watching the St.Louis Cardinals when they come back, but I just want the weather to shape up so I can golf.

Re: Season officially over....

about when do they announce the preseason schedule? cuz I'm trying to plan as far in advance as possible to visit a couple friends in dc and go to a game while there. plus it'd be cool to hang out at training camp one day with some fellow warpathers.

Baseball time for me. I know its not for everyone, but Sunday April 3rd is opening night and its Yankees vs Red Sox (and hopefully RJ vs Schilling). Why waste any time and get right to the marquee matchup?

Can't wait for that Redrock. For now, I'll be playing my madden franchise until my fingers fall off. Also follow my Wizards, Hoyas, Terps, Yankees, and Nationals.

Right now Basketball is huge in the DC area. Every local team is playing well, and its exciting to watch each and every one of those teams. I'm gonna try to go watch as many Wizards/Hoyas games at the MCI center.

But come on guys let's be real here. Theres nothing more exciting than the Redskins in the off-season. I can't wait for Free agency, the draft, and of course all the rumors leading up to both of them.

At least we don't have to deal w/ Hockey highlights on Sportscenter . Is is just me or does no one care about hockey anymore?

I do like hockey, but like arena football, it is meant to be seen live and doesn't play as well on TV, so I can live without highlights of an Ottawa-Phoenix NHL game. The NHL may just have to blow itself up and start over. Neither side is even close to blinking at the bargaining table.

While I do think the cap has worked well for the NFL to some extent, I never have really been in favor of a salary cap in sports or any line of employment for that matter. If the owners are that stupid and can't control themselves that's their problem. I guess that's a rant for another day though.

Re: Season officially over....

Hell, I don't what yall will be doing but I will be playing Madden 2005, is there any other sub, for not real football, but running your own team, and making the moves you would want to see, to make your team ready to play in a superbowl, not even weak AFL, is a better Sub, than Madden, I can get rid of Brunnel, trade, Gardner, redo contracts, and bring in the final piece of the puzzle that will see my beloved Redskins, in the playoffs, and possible SuperBowl, a boring 6 months.....Hell No....Get in fellows..its the next best thing....
