I'm all for BPA with our third rounder tonight. If that means another qb, I wouldn't care. Anything that improves the team is ok by me.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)

Have to say that was the best draft I've seen in quite some time. Never have I seen that many trades in the 1st round, and I loved the fact they weren't showing the guys on the phones prior to the pick. NFL did a great job this year with the draft.

Loved how they didn't tip off the pick prior to the announcement last night. Well at least on TV. I noticed on Twitter people like Schefter were still doing it.

I heard Paul Allen (the Seahawks owner) was tweeting every pick as soon as he got word of it, which was basically before anyone

All the trades were exciting. Big props to the league for getting rookie salaries under control to make trades a lot more team friendly.

Mattyk, this would have to mean that we actually sign RG3 to a contract soon wouldn't you think?

Re: 2012 NFL Draft (Day 2)

Final thoughts on the first day- Great moves by the Jags, Browns, Vikings, and Cowboys.

Tampa Bay showed why their franchise is completely inept at this point. Seattle as well. Shaking my head at the Bears too.

Tannehill ended up going to the perfect fit in Miami. I think that move works better than any other spot.

People keep talking bout the Patriots moves being great, gotta disagree.

We got our man so im very happy

Pretty much agree with everything but the Browns bit. I thought they had a horrible day. I don't like taking running backs in the top 10, let alone trading 3 picks to move up 1 spot to get one. I like Richardson, but I'd never use a pick that high on an RB. Weeden was also an awful pick IMO. 28 Year old quarterbacks in the 1st round? No thanks.

I think TR is gonna be great, I think Weeden will surprise and still a risk though. Point taken

I think TR is going to be great too, but:

A. I don't believe anyone else was going to get in front of them. Of course, I don't know that, but I don't buy it.

B. I just don't like picking running backs that high in today's NFL. Such a short lifespan in most cases and I just think you can get good running backs in later rounds.

C. Disagree on Weeden. I don't like him. To each his own.

Also: Claiborne couldn't spell LSU if you spotted him the L and the S.
