2 Framed Signed Jerseys for sale "2 TE set"
Ok, so I have come down or PCS orders and have been forced to dismantle the mancave. It was fun while it lasted, however I am not going through the headache that was painting it again, ugh. That and the news of a baby on the way has me downsizing my collection. So what I have is 2 framed redskins jerseys. My "2 TE set". The frames are redskins frames that actually open in the front to place the jerseys in with the redskins logo embossed on them. They ran me about 250 a piece online. I have a game worn Fred Davis jersey from 2010 when he was still wearing 86, I had him sign it as well. The second is a Chris Cooley on field authentic signed by Chris, and given to me from Demaurice Smith at a charity event I donated to. So I am thinking 1000 is a fair price for the set, thoughts? If intrested PM me and I will give you more info. I have pics but not sure how to attach them. see attached link for my craigslist ad I just posted.

Think the asking price is fair?

I'd say it's a fair starting off point.

Its is a shadow box that you put the jerseys into yourself. They can actually be removed. The front of the frame opens up, the jerseys are placed on a clear rod, and they rest on a small hook. Can send pictures to explain if interested.

Cooley is declining in value in the memorabilia business so he is a tough sale. Honestly, I think you will struggle to sell the Cooley for $150 out of the shadow box. Of course, in a year or two the Cooley will be worth as much as a Portis or Stephen Davis. Fred Davis is the "tech stock" that could go either way right now. I don't know much about game worn jerseys. Do autographs on them increase the value or does it hurt the value like on a rookie card? I can tell you on my website I have Fred Davis double inscription custom jerseys (not NFL) for $85 bucks. Obviously a game worn would be worth more, but how much is tough. |

So 700 for the set is more reasonable?

Re: 2 Framed Signed Jerseys for sale "2 TE set"
Hate to break it to you but I don't think that Cooley is a game worn or even one issued to him to wear on the field.
The sleeve striped look screen printed and are bigger than what he wears on-field. It might be an authentic Reebok retail jersey, but I don't think it's a real player's cut version that he's wear on-field. They do sell "authentics" with elasticized sleeves from Reebok but those stripes a dead giveaway to me that it wasn't a jersey made for Cooley, unless it's one for him to wear to team and charity events. The Davis one looks legit.

Re: 2 Framed Signed Jerseys for sale "2 TE set"
The Cooley Jersey is NOT game worn. I never stated that in the description. The tag reads "On Field Authentic" on the inside. The only Game worn Jersey is the Fred Davis. I can send more close up pics upon request.

He said the Davis one was game worn, not Cooley's.

Re: 2 Framed Signed Jerseys for sale "2 TE set"
I cant remember if the Davis jersey has a size on it. It has 2 numbers sewn on a small white tag I believe it is 09-10 or something close. But I believe that represents the month and year. I will check when I get home and let you know. Its custom cut for his pads etc..
