Re: Your thoughts of the possibility of Kerrigan "surpassing" Orakpo
Not yet. Today showed me that Orakpo is the better rusher and it's not just because of the sacks. Don't get me wrong Kerrigan is easily a favorite to win DROY but the idea of him being better then Orakpo might have been a bit premature.
Bottom line though is that it's great to even be able to debate such a topic.

Re: Your thoughts of the possibility of Kerrigan "surpassing" Orakpo
Now this is the kinda hypothetical thread I can get behind.
Honestly, if Kerrigan does surpass Orakpo in terms of making plays, it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters to me is that we lock them up so they can play together for the next decade because it's obvious they feed off each other, and make each other better. I love both of them. I hope they never leave, I hope they are Redskins until the day they retire. We as a team have not had the luxury of having two young, ballin ass bookend pass rushers like them in such a long time, and I want to enjoy them for the next decade, minimum.

well he didnt surpass him today. Orakpo was a mutherf*ckin beast out there. I really dont care, but both guys should excellent players, they got good fire and really want to win. Both these guys could be at worst are borderline probowlers, which is saying alot. Hope these guys can remain healthy.

Not sure why it matters if he does or doesn't, we have two beasts at OLB.

Re: Your thoughts of the possibility of Kerrigan "surpassing" Orakpo
They are both great players, Orakpo can rush the passer slightly better, Kerrigan has a knack for creating turnovers. We are lucky to have both and at this rate, if Kerrigan continues to play the way he's been playing, he will be the defensive NFC ROTY.

What we have in reality would be fantasy for most other teams. It's like having Clay Matthews and Ware on the same team.

Once again, fans not content with having two good players in one position

Re: Your thoughts of the possibility of Kerrigan "surpassing" Orakpo
Technically it's two positions. So having two premier pass rushers in two positions shouldn't be a case of having excess "ballin."

Re: Your thoughts of the possibility of Kerrigan "surpassing" Orakpo
Fair enough, still this seems like a silly argument. We have two great pass rushers, two good TEs, and three good RBs. I would take that rather than having only one good TE, one good pass rusher, or just one good RB.
