Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Former Longhorn, current Redskin Brian Orakpo plans to work with Cowboy DeMarcus Ware this offseason | Dallas Cowboys Blog | Sports News | News for Dallas, Texas | The Dallas Morning News
Kind of strange, though really, you'd have to assume Orakpo is the bigger beneficiary here. Whatever helps him make his recent tweet a reality, I guess I'm for. |

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
He needs to work with Kevin Greene, much like Matthews did. Seemed to have helped quite a bit if you ask me.

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
True, but well having him as a coach for the season probably helped as well. I remember when they showed Greene go over to Matthews telling him that it was time, I called my friend and said that he should be our DC. Nothing against JH but Greene seemed like he's be pretty a good motivator.

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Story doesn't mention that Osi Umenyiora plans to work out with them as well. So a Cowboy, a Redskin, and a Giant working out together in the off-season.
What does that tell you? That everybody hates the Eagles

Not weird at all to me. Good idea to work on his technique. We need to remember, as fans, we're the only ones that care about the rivalry. One thing I loved about Smoot was he openly hated the Cowboys. Not many players are like that anymore.

Now lets just wait for the rumors that Orakpo wants to be a Cowboy or that we are going to trade the next 12 drafts to get Ware.

as far as rak workin out with ware and osi, go for it. and espescially since they are on the same side of the ball. it's not like they would ever go head to head for any reason. unless shanny thinks rak is a great zone blocker

Harumpf. I don't know why I was hoping the CBA would go bye bye so teams could keep their players and build the player/team loyalty back to what it was in the 70's and 80's. So much for the players getting the rivalry in their bones and hating one another. Might as well invite Fletcher and Wilson to go along also... maybe they all can all go get icecream together. |

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Hey whatever works. Guys from other teams work out all the time in the offseason. No big deal.

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Yeah, I don't think that they need to hate each other off the field, but, as a commenter in the Dallas article said about Ware*, shouldn't Orakpo be working out with Lorenzo Alexander or Perry Riley. (Or Robert Quinn???? - I know that's not going to happen, but a fella can dream).
Or at least let them tag along? * He referenced Spencer. |

In the offseason, TMC practices locking threads with mods from thehogs.net. It happens

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Again, I don't have a problem with it really, I'd be more angry if I was Dallas. It's like being a Yankee after Mariano Rivera taught Roy Halladay the cutter at an All-Star Game-
Uh, dude, we have to try and get on base against that guy, Mariano, he's one of the best pitcher's in the league - that's about enough with the Christian charity, homey- cut that shit out. |

Re: Orakpo + Ware = GTL?
Who's to say he's not. These guys work out with so many different people
Plus, honestly what can Orakpo learn from Riley or Alexander?
