Gross man. Oh well some will be happy it's not Simms others will be sad it is Grossman. I don't care either way. The coach's know best what QB will work or not work in their system. It's not like he's going to have to take over.... but I could be eating my words later if someone gets hurt.
 I just hope they made the right decision.

It's only a one year deal. It's not like we seriously invested in him.
Does this raise the chance that we will draft a QB at #4 and trade JC?

horrible move. we should have signed him to a multi-year deal to lock him up.

I would say this move signifies that they will draft a QB, because now they have a veteran backup who could run the offense until the rookie is ready to start playing....

Take a look at past #1 overall QB taken, they get TONS of money. And if a franchise if not careful, it could set thier team back as much as 10 years. Case in point: JaMarcus Russell Ryan Leaf (ok he was the 2nd pick, but you see what I mean) The #1 overall pick is scary enough to choose, but on a QB it is magnified ten-fold. |
