How Sad...
...that we can't even discuss the events at Fort Hood because the Liberals have sand in their pussies and are afraid to debate.

Re: How Sad...
I don't know what there is to debate about the actual shooting itself. It's awful, tragic, sad, and clearly a non-partisan issue IMO.
However the poor response by the Obama administration could be discussed. Kind of piles on to what has been a tough week for Dems. I found it interesting that this was posted by NBC Chicago affiliate: Obama's Frightening Insensitivity Following Shooting | NBC Chicago

Re: How Sad...
the only thing that can be said about what happened there was tradgedy, you never know who is around you especially in the service, you just get stuck with someone and some times you get lucky some times you don't, i just don't understand how some one who was obviously this unstable made it to major, where were his superiors during this, he did say he did not want to be deployed, and imo this has nothing to do with politics this is the army and it's internal policies they are in desperate need of reveiw and modification asap because right now it is a giant cluster f and has been for a while, but right now my thoughts are with the families of the soldiers of fort hood

Re: How Sad...
I think it's as sad that political discussion involves things like where political opposites might put their sand. Surely your post is evidence that it would not have been a civil discussion, and I say good job to Matty for closing that thread before it went the wrong way. Men and women lost their lives, that's a sad thing, not every incident needs to become a big back and forth of how screwed up our system is.

Re: How Sad...
its a sad day in this country when someone looks at a tragedy like this, and lines up on one side of the political fence. times like these are when we, as Americans, have to come together. if we cant do it for something like this, when can we?
