Do you have a "Scab Team"?

I just finished reading an article, like all the rest, asking for Synder to unload VC. There is also the standard discussion of boycotting our current organization. So, if we stop buying the goods and drinking the kool-aid; however you still follow the news, keep all your old gear. Do you root for a new team? Do you start buying their logo'ed stuff?

For me, I won't spend money for another team's product. There are a couple other treams I like to follow, Ravens because they are local, I have always liked the Steelers, even as a kid. I don't know, I just can't see myself going "full out" for another team. It I were to pull for another team, it certainly would be an AFC team, until our got their act together.

Hell no...Die hard till I die. I couldn't even pull for another team if I wanted to, the Skins are in my blood. Its the reason I watch every minute of every game even when it gets as bad as this year. It has its rewards....it was most likely only the die hards that got to see Brunell launch two bombs to Moss in the last 3 minutes to beat the Cowboys in 06...the half ass fans had probably gone to bed.

Its hard to stick with the Skins right now, but the true fans will.

I cant do it. I put my stuff in my attic when Turner was the coach. Did not really root for another team. I still followed them just did not wear there clothes. I am always asked now why am I wearing a Redskins hat or whatever and i tell them I am a die hard not giving up now. I don't think I will put up my stuff again.

I to agree I watch every game no matter what our record is. Thats what real true fans do. Anyone can root for a team when they are winning. True fans get tested when your team is awful like ours is at the moment. I still got faith they can win a few more games this season, if not i still will be watching at home in Cali.

Re: Do you have a "Scab Team"?

I wish I could root for another team, particularly the Ravens. I have shaken Steve Bisciotti's hand (great guy by the way), am surrounded by fans, and his team has always performed well but I can't root for them. I don't empathize if they lose or celebrate if they win.

I only spectate other teams; it's only emotional for me and the Skins. That being said I do enjoy watching the Colts, the Steelers, the Patriots, the Broncos, the Ravens, the Packers, the Vikings, and the Saints. In short, I enjoy watching good football with teams outside the NFC East.

No it means he likes watching good Football. So if were not watching the skins, most of us like watching the better players competing.

You can't have a backup team, your 100 percent Skins or not. You can still enjoy watching football.

I get all the losing I can handle from the Skins, Orioles, Nationals, and Terps. It makes me feel better to watch winning teams.

I don't even get how Ravens fans can be Ravens fans. If you were a die hard Colts fan growing up, then root for Indianapolis. The Steelers were always my AFC team, but I don't care about them like I do the Skins. Will always obsess over the Skins... regardless of the coach, owner, players, etc.

I'm the same way.. unless you're new to football or that young, I don't get it.

You'd think Ravens fans would've been Browns fans and waiting for that to come back, Steelers fans, or Skins fans. I mean if you were a Colts fan and gave up on football after that.. that's one thing.. but I would've followed Indianapolis too

same thing with expansion teams.. I mean you know it's going to happen.. but wtf

I remember the day after the Mayflower's showed up and helped the Colts sneak away. I couldn't fathom anybody who was a Colts fan then following them after that. If Danny moved the team to South Dakota would any current fan keeping pulling for them?
There is one team I love (no matter how much they break my heart) There are a few other teams I like (Green Bay, Browns, Jets, New Orleans) and those are mostly teams that I like the fans of. And two teams I hate (Panthers and Cowboys).
