Wow -- Carrier, Sanders, Smith, George. Ahh, the memories. Never have so many given so little for so much.

Re: When the Maddness Began

When Snyder started charging fans to watch training camp it lifted the ban on opposing scouts showing up to games...BRILLIANT move!

I understsnd that today they have practices that are closed off to everyone, and some practices that are open, but still; It was the original spygate.

Not only did he charge fans to watch practice, he also charged to park your vehicle, and took the bleachers out so there was no place to sit. He obviously didn't want the fans to enjoy the luxary of (sitting down) and watching his team for free.

They suggested you bring a chair. like what good is a chair going to do sitting at ground level trying to see over, and around hundreds' of people.

Holy crap Jerry Jones prior to going under the knife, hahahahahah

In all seriousness, seems just like yesterday. How fast ten years can be wasted.

Re: When the Maddness Began

Lol, "win at all cost." Thats right sign the best players, get the best coaches, then make your best friend Executive Vice....oh wait does this still count as win at all cost or is this more 66% cost?

Re: When the Maddness Began

Twas quite the mini-documentary. I'll just say this: I've only really paid attention to Snyder (always been a Skins fan) the last few years, maybe about '04. He mostly comes across reserved and cautious now. Those short interview clips from the video reveal a smug little prick...I tend to think he's the same smug little prick but now he's an utter and complete failure at winning, so he talks less. Tragically, he's still "won" financially. I understand it's hard to get a clear picture in the midst of any disaster, but honestly it "feels" morally wrong to give Snyder any money for anything at this point.

Re: When the Maddness Began

I hear that in Spain you have to win the position of owner (they use the title chairman) in an election. Case in point:

"Florentino Pérez first ran for the presidency of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol in the 19 February 1995 election. He campaigned on the poor financial situation of the club and the alleged mismanagement by the board extensively, but lost to the incumbent Ramón Mendoza by 700 votes."
